My Review:
All her life Meredith Molloney has had her brothers
following her around taken care of her and protecting her, keeping her safe.
She never believed that she would ever find a mate with a cruse hanging over
her head until she met Donovan Murry, a very powerful Alpha with his own pack.
Meredith never thought she would ever leave her home in
Texas but when Donovan gets a call that his second has been murdered Meredith
and Donavan catch a plane to Ireland. With his second now dead that leaves one
of his ex’s as his second in command. Donovan knows that she is a mad wolf but
cannot prove it.
Upon arriving in Ireland Meredith soon learns that she has a
lot more on her plate than just a few ex’s to worry about who what her out of
the way but she may end up having to fight the whole pack.
Meredith is a very strong girl who will always stand up for
what she believes is right. Donovan’s pack doesn’t know who they are bulking up
against; with Meredith they are definitely barking up the wrong tree. She may
not be the strongest but you don’t always have to be the strongest you just
have to be smarter than the one you are fighting.
Shattered Pack is the first book that I have read in the
Alfa Girl series and I have to say I was hesitate at first to read it even with
knowing that it could be read as a standalone and that is true. I never thought
that I was missing something per say but I would like to know about the fight
with Luciana, more about Meredith’s curse and some of the other characters as
well. I would recommend Shattered Pack to anyone who loves a good romance novel
with a few murders and a very strong lead girl with a very big heart.
