My Review:
Olivia Sandar and her two oldest children are were-leopards
and as far as she knows are the only were-leopards in existence. If they are
other were-leopards she is not aware of them. But of course if they are like
Olivia and her family they stay in hiding from the outside world not letting
anyone know of their existence.
Olivia is a Secret Service agent and after the death of her
husband who was also a were-leopard she moved her family to a small town out
west close to her home town. Olivia takes a job there working for the Sheriff’s
department going undercover as a stripper in a night club.
Human traffickers are rounding up children in the area and selling
them as sex slaves. The children are held hostage and are raped and beaten if
they don’t do as they are told.
Olivia learns that there is terrorist looking for her with
deadly intent. To save herself and her family she must find the terrorist and
the traffickers and stop them if she wants to live.
Leopard’s Daughter will pull you in and have you hooked from
the first page. There are some great characters but there are also some very
bad characters that you want to jump right into the book and put your hands on
their throats and squeeze.
Leopard’s Daughter is so very intense and filled with lots
of suspense. It will keep your mind racing trying to figure out how each
character’s lives are going to intertwine.
If you like your books filled with mystery and suspense with
a shapeshifter or two thrown into the mix then Leopard’s Daughter is the book
for you but be fair warned it contains human trafficking, abuse, drugs, sex,
and rape some of which involves children.
