Blurb:
Emily is starting to settle into Safety Beach. It’s been a
year since she arrived with her mom and she’s come a long way from the scared
teenager who didn’t know she was a witch. But she’s starting to realize that
when it comes to her power, she’s only scratching the surface.
Her best friend Chloe is losing control. She’s a vampire who
has only recently started developing her vampire magic but with it comes an
unhealthy dose of bloodlust. And Choe can’t control it. She doesn’t want to be
the vampire she was born to be, but her self-rejection is turning her into a
danger to herself and others.
Dead bodies are turning up around Safety Beach and everyone
is looking at the vampires. The teeth marks, the modus operandi, it all makes
sense and it’s pretty damning.
Emily is frantic to save Chloe, to prove that she isn’t the
one murdering the humans that are turning up dead one by one. Despite her mom’s
boyfriend and the Master Vampire breathing down her neck, she’s using new magic
and she’s got Reece at her back. But Chloe is blacking out more and more and
it’s starting to look like it can’t be anyone else.
When Reece and Emily team up to prove Chloe’s innocence,
they have to decide whose side they’re on. Are they going to fight for Chloe
and stand firm in their belief that she’s better than this? Or will the
evidence convince them that maybe, this time, they’re wrong?
It’s only a matter of time before the truth will come out.
But how much blood will be spilled before then?
Teen Witch Chronicles
is a 6 book series of novellas set in Safety Beach. It's The Chilling
Adventures of Sabrina meets Teen Wolf. A Young Adult Paranormal Urban Fantasy.
This is a continuing series but each story is self-contained.
My Review:
Emily’s best friend Chloe is a vampire and it is time for
her to start feeding from humans. Chloe’s bloodlust is getting stronger and
stronger. It is getting to the point where she can hardly control it anymore.
Ever since Emily has known Chloe she knew that she didn’t do
the hugging thing nor does she like to be around people but Emily has never put
the two together until now.
Chloe is starting to have blackouts, time where she can’t
remember what she was
doing or where she has been. She wakes up in different
places with no member of how she got there.
Humans are tuning up dead in Safety Beach and the humans are
blaming it on the vampires, well because of the teeth marks found on the victims.
Chloe is real scared that she may be the one killing humans.
Chloe is having a hard time dealing with the death of the
humans. I mean she doesn’t even want to feed from humans much less hurt them. Emily
knows there is no way that Chloe could be the one killing the humans. Emily and
their good friend Reece are determined to find out who the real killer is.
The Teen Witch: Tempest opens up more magical powers with
the vampires. We get to know each character more. We learn more of their
abilities and get to see them grow. Emily needs to learn to control her
emotions a little bit more.
I think Emily has a little more growing up to do when it
comes to her mom and her mom’s boyfriends but her mom needs to grow up too and
treat Emily more like an adult then Emily may just grow more and act more
mature. She is not a little girl and I can understand she doesn’t want to be
called little girl names. The sweet little name calling should be left up to one’s
boyfriend, right?
I love reading about witches, vampires, and werewolves. The Teen Witch Chronicles has them all. I love
books where witches, vampires, and werewolves all live in the same world. The
Teen Witch: Tempest had me in its grasp from the first page I couldn’t put it
down I just kept flipping those pages one after the other before I knew it I
was on the last page. I can’t wait to read more books in The Teen Witch world.
This is an amazing series that I can’t seem to get enough of
and so there recommend it highly.
