Blurb:

Damien Pierce wasn’t like normal people. Since he was young, he learned that he had the uncanny ability to heal himself almost immediately. At fifteen, he astounded the small town of Big Timber, Montana when an SUV hit him only to find he survived the encounter without suffering any major injuries.

After moving away for ten years, losing his mother and slipping into a deep sense of depression, Damien’s father moves them back home in an attempt to give Damien a sense of normalcy.

Enter Jillian Styles, the immortal, beautiful lycan that has been looking for the soul of her long, lost lover who after many years of being reborn into new bodies, his soul simply vanishes into the tides of time. When Jill first sees Damien, she knows immediately he is the one she had been looking for.

When an old enemy begins re-igniting the flames of a centuries old war, Damien must come to grips with a cruel fact that he is not human while nurturing feelings for the beautiful woman who captured his affection.

Now Damien must delve deeper into the world of the supernatural with the help of the mysterious Alexander Kain and Jillian. He’s about to learn, the secret sleeping within him is much more than he ever could have imagined.
It has made him the target of a very vindictive dark god bent on taking revenge.

My Review:

Lycan, Jillian Styles spends her time looking and searching for her soulmate. In each and every lifetime she finds her soulmate only to have him taken from because of a curse. Each and every time Jillian promises herself that this time she will be different this time she will save her love and will not let him die and be taken from her again.

When Jillian first lays eyes on Damien Pierce she knows the instant she makes eye contact with him that he is the one she has been looking for it has been over a thousand years since the last time she laid eyes on her soulmate. She hopes that once he sees her that he will recognize her and know who she is.

Damien has had great lost in his past that sent him spiraling down into a deep dark hole when his mother died. After she is gone his father Charlie decides to move them back to their hometown after ten years of being gone. Charlie hopes that moving back will help them both with their grief.

Damien has known for most of his life that he is different than others with his quick healing. After meeting Jillian he soon learns that things in this world is not what they seem and a whole new world is about to be open to his eyes. Damien gets caught up in Jillian’s world and she must reveal to him what she is.

After meeting Jillian and getting to know who she truly is Damien soon learns that he has a secret of his own hidden deep inside of him that he must release to help stop the impending doom that is about to it his town and the people he loves and cares about.

An age old war between the vampires and Lycans is imminent if they can’t put a halt on it. The vamps want to take over the world and get rid of all humans.

Although the vampires in Blessing of Luna are nothing like the vampires in The Twilight Saga it did remind me so much of The Twilight Saga in that it has the same sort of feel to it with all the girls that want Damien for their own. Yeah our sweet little Damien has a few other girls who what him in their life and are willing to kill for him.

Blessing of Luna has a sweet little romance that will just sweep you away right into the middle of it causing you to lose all sense of what is going on around you. It has just enough action to keep you reading and rooting for our characters and speaking of character they are all well with the exception of the vampires are wonderful. They all care deeply for each other and they know how to make you care for them.

Blessing of Luna is a great introduction into this new world of Lycan and Vampires one in which I can’t wait to know more of meaning I can’t wait to dive into the next book in the Wolfgods series Bane of Tenebris.

I would highly recommend Blessing of Luna to anyone who likes the paranormal worlds that consist of vampires, werewolves or lycan as they prefer to be called. Oh and also if you like The Twilight Saga or even The Vampire Diaries then give Blessing of Luna a try.
