Having gone from kidnapped faux princess to the legitimate heir to an intergalactic throne, an impulsive, sarcastic teen must take charge of her own destiny in this epic YA novel.

On Earth, Delaney is a normal teenager who recently graduated high school with a fantastic best friend and a loving boyfriend.

But Delaney isn’t on Earth. She’s on Xenith, a war-torn planet half a galaxy away. Originally mistaken for an alien princess, Delaney has gone from kidnapped imposter to the recognized heir to an alien throne. Oh, and she’s engaged to the prince of an enemy nation whose ruthless father is on the warpath.

Torn between two planets, two fates, and two loves, Delaney is finally ready to choose her own destiny in Within Ash and Stardust, the stunning conclusion to Chani Lynn Feener’s Xenith Trilogy.

My Review:

In the first book of The Xenith Trilogy, Amid Stars and Darkness Delaney is kidnapped by a hot alien, Ruckus who takes her to his home planet to impersonate the Lissa. The real Lissa is missing so they need Delaney to impersonate her to hopefully stop a war between two planets.

In book two of The Xenith Trilogy, Between Frost and Fury Delaney is kidnapped again by the Zane who became smitten with Delaney and now wants her to become his queen.

And now in the third and final book of The Xenith Trilogy, Within Ash and Stardust Delaney is again with our two handsome guys traveling through space but this time Delaney is a willing participate.

Delaney, Ruckus and Zane are on their way to deliver a daughter's body to her mother. They have no clue as to how their appearance will be accepted from the girl's mother but that is something they are willing to face as they believe returning her body is the right thing to do.

In Within Ash and Stardust Delaney, Zane and Ruckus are racing against the clock trying to find the proof they need to get the Rex off his throne and take his crown to save everyone on Xenith. Can they find the proof they need to save Xenith?

Within Ash and Stardust is filled with action and suspense from the first page with our characters traveling in spaceships from one planet to another and on occasion having to fight to save the people on Xenith. That Delaney has come a long way since the first book Amid Stars and Darkness with her fighting skills and taking on more than one man at a time in a fight and fighting in what she believes in.

Yeah but our Delaney does have one little problem and that is her heart is torn in two different direction as she loves both our hot, bada** guys the Zane and Ruckus. Delaney cares for both guys a whole lot but in the end she can only be with one. Who will it be? Zane or Ruckus? Which way will her heart take her?

I have really and truly loved reading The Xenith Trilogy and am going to miss all the characters and the world itself as well as traveling in spaceships.

I highly recommend Within Ash and Stardust to all fans science fiction and aliens. If you like TV shows like Star Trek and The Orville then you are going to fall in love with Within Ash and Stardust and every book in The Xenith Trilogy.
