 ReZiliant

The ZurViral Series #2

by David Viergutz

Published: May 31, 2021

Publisher: David Viergutz

Genre: Dystopian, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Zombies

Blurb:

The town of Deep Vale, Texas, belongs to the dead, and the survivors look to Brock Skeller for answers.

Riddled with uncertainty, he leads the townsfolk to where he believes they will find refuge: a state mental institution.

It has solid walls, a heavy fence, and natural protection. Can a facility meant to hold people in also keep the dead out? The survivors are running on hopes and prayers, and the dead are relentless and unforgiving. Around every bend lurks uncertainty and turmoil...from the dead, to each other.

Brock believes in redemption, but he may learn that not everyone deserves a second chance.

Book Two of The ZurViral Series follows Brock Skeller as he leads a band of survivors with nothing but his wits, guile, and powerful telekinetic abilities.

My Review:

The ZurViral Series has just ramped up its game with the second book ReZiliant with more zombie fighting. I loved their way of fighting zombies and calling out each one. I sort of pictured it as using the stacking method to kill the zombies.

What I liked about ReZiliant is that it has zombies. I loved all the characters especially this one guy who put others before himself. Everything he did was to help others.

There was this one guy I didn’t care much for as he was only out for number one. He was mean and selfish and a control freak.

ReZiliant was filled with so much action and zombie-fighting that once I picked it up I couldn’t put it down until I had read the last page. Once I read that first page I was drawn into another world of zombies and I was lost between its pages as the world around me faded away into nothing as if it no longer existed.

If you love zombies as much as I do then I would definitely suggest that you set aside a few hours for reading as I did as once you turn to that first page, you will then be hooked and unable to stop until that last page is before you.
