My Review:

Eve Easterhouse has just gotten out of prison for doing drugs. Eve is worried that she will not be able to find a job but she lucks up and finds a job with an advertising firm working for Andel Talistokov. Andel is a fallen angel who feeds off of humans. Andel has gotten pretty comfortable with his job and starts to relax and break a few rules here and there. He doesn’t think much about it until his boss finds out and demands he return home.

After the reading of their mother’s will Eve and her sister, Julia learns that their mother had a house they never knew anything about. After going through the house it doesn’t take them long to realize that their mother had a lot of secrets. They learn that their mother is not who they thought she was or at least there is more to her story than she ever told. They learn that their mother was a descendant of fallen angels or Nephilim, half-human/half-angel.

There are so many secrets in Peacocks, Pedestals, and Prayers that it had me racing through the pages trying to figure it all out. It kept me in suspense wondering how it was all going to be revealed. Peacocks, Pedestals, and Prayers tells the story of several different characters. It kept me in suspense with just wanting to know how if all these characters' lives and or stories were going to intertwine.

I would have to say that my favorite character was six-year-old Belle. She was a delight. She is very intelligent to know all the things she knew. I mean all that information was stored in a six-year-old brain. That child has been here before. She was amazing. I loved that her mom and aunt believe her and listened to her.

Do you like stories about demons, angels, fallen angels, Nephilim, and or biblical lore? Did you say yes? Well, then look no further as I do believe that Peacocks, Pedestals, and Prayers are just what you are looking for. Grab a copy of Peacocks, Pedestals, and Prayers today!
