Epic Life

by Jon Daugherty

GENRE: Children's

BLURB:

Teaching our next generation about financial freedom so that they can have an epic life is so important. Tatum and his mom are going to show you how to get there in a fun and creative way. Follow them on this journey by planting your own money trees so that we can grow wealth. Let us break old financial habits and create new ones. By doing this we must act differently than everyone else in order to have an epic life.

Excerpt:

After anxiously waiting for his mom to be done, Tatum finally got to ask her. . . .

Instead of giving that lady OUR money, why don’t we get rid of that rusty old car and buy the new Turbo Sport 3000, like Mr. D over there?”

He-he-he,” his mom giggled. She calmly replied, “Let me show you.”

After driving for what felt like infinity hours to Tatum, they arrived at . . . an apple orchard?!

The rusty old car stopped. Tatum asked, “What does a Turbo Sport 3000 have to do with apples?”

He-he-he,” his mom giggled and said, “come with me, and I’ll explain everything.”

My Review:

Tatum and his mom go to the bank. They drive an old beat-up rusty car. Tatum overhears this guy talking to a bank teller that he wants to buy a new car. Tatum runs to his mom and tells her that he wants to buy a new car like this guy he heard talking to another bank teller.

Tatum’s mom explains to him in a way that he can understand about not spending all your money one time. She teaches him that if you take all your money to buy a car then there would not be any leftover for food or a place to live or toys. She teaches him how to save your money so that maybe one day you can buy a new car and still have food to eat. She teaches him that there or more things in life than new cars.

Epic Life is a great little story that will teach children how to save money to have a better life. I loved the way Tatum’s mom was with him. How she tried to explain it all to him. That she put it in a way that he could understand. Epic Life is a sweet and fun little read.

Epic Life is a great little story to add to any child’s library! One-click your copy of this great little story today for a wonderful little adventure with one little boy, his mom.
