Love takes a scandalous vow.

Ava-Marie

Things at the Institute look darker than ever. I’ve lost all my friends, my hope, and the person I love.

To make matters worse, the prison is planning something nefarious. Experiments are being performed on inmates at the Institute, to satisfy the Warden’s craving to find a demigod.

I’ve sworn to uncover the Warden’s plans, and go underground to learn just what he’s plotting. Unfortunately, I can’t find answers without putting my soul on the line.

And the consequences are going to propel me straight to the afterlife.

Charlie

The Warden promises the Institute is safe, but I know better. He's hunting people down-- people like me. To protect us all, we must start a revolution.

I must step up and become the leader everyone is searching for. I've decided to start teaching magic in secret to a group of prisoners I trust. When the time comes, we’ll be ready to face our enemies.

Students are disappearing from the prison, and we don’t know where they’ve gone. Now, I’m next in line to vanish.

But there’s a way around the law. To remain where I’m needed most, Ava and I will have to make a promise that will change our entire lives.

Sharing a bed with the enemy is one thing. Marrying her is another.

My Review:

In The Infernal Underground, the third book in the Prison for Supernatural Offenders series. Strange, evil things are going on in the institute. Experiments are being done on the students. The search for a demigod and the prince is still underway. Charlie, Ava, and the rest of the crew are doing their best to keep the identity of the prince hidden from the warden.

Students are mysteriously disappearing from the prison in broad daylight. No one knows what is happening to them or where they are going. The prison is warded against anyone escaping. No one can use their magic to escape. But Charlie, Ava, and everyone else are working hard for a way around the warden’s magic.

War is on the horizon, a war between all the paranormal creatures as they fight against one another. A war not unlike a World War, war. If Charlie and Ava don’t come up with a plan to stop the warden then war is imminent for all.

I felt so bad for Charlie and Ava as they have broken up. Charlie is so sad without his beloved by his side. And Ava is not much better as they both miss each other so much. But they are trying really hard not to let it show.

The Infernal Underground is a very enchanting and interesting read as once I picked it up there was no way I was going to lay it down until that last page came into sight. From beginning to end I kept trying to guess as to what would happen next but without much success as it kept me in the dark from one end to the other with twists after twists.

My favorite parts were in the fighting arena with Charlie and when they were using their magical powers. I could just see it all as it played out in my head as if I was there with them. I can’t wait for the next installment in the Prison for Supernatural Offenders series, The Assassin's Destiny to see where the authors take us and to explore more of this world.

I highly recommend The Infernal Underground to all fans of paranormal creatures. Grab your copy of The Infernal Underground today!
