Book Description:

When Maya Smock writes her first novel, everything seems to go her way. Her book practically writes itself. She marries her gorgeous agent. Her name is on all of the best seller lists. Billionaire author Jay McCallister takes an interest in her meteoric rise to fame and invites her into his world of alien-believing celebrities. Her life changes forever when he tells her that they were both created inside of a laboratory. These authors are embedding an alien genetic code within the pages of their novels that originated from Nazi Germany because…

Interview with Dina Rae

What inspired you to write The Best Seller?

I am a big Ancient Alien/World War II/Hitler buff. All of the ideas make for great fiction.

Can you tell us a little bit about the next books in the series?

The next book is almost done. It is called The Sequel and continues where The Best Seller left off. Much of it has to do with Hitler and the occult, Hollow Earth, and Reptillians. I am estimating that it will be out in August.

Can you tell us a little bit about the characters in The Best Seller?

Maya Smock is an author who writes a best seller. She doesn’t realize it at the time, but her pages are encoded with DNA script. Jay McCallister, a billionaire author and leader in the alien-believing community, understands what she is writing. A power or force is also making him also encode his novels. The two of them become friends. The other major story line involves a general who gets control of an airbase. The airbase is top-secret. The pieces from the Roswell space crash and alien corpses are brought there to study by Nazi doctors brought back from World War II.

You know I think we all have a favorite author. Who is your favorite author and why?

I have many. I love Game of Thrones and wish George RR Martin would finish the series! I also love Brad Thor, Stephen King, Jim Mars, Graham Hancock, and Suzanne Collins. I love both fiction and nonfiction.

If you could time-travel would you travel to the future or the past? Where would you like to go and why would you like to visit this particular time period?

I would love to go back in time and meet Jesus. He is the most fascinating man that ever lived. I would also like to go back to the American Revolution and meet our fore-fathers. Going forward is way too scary! I don’t want to know the future!

Do you have any little fuzzy friends? Like a dog or a cat? Or any pets?

I have two beautiful dogs-a SID (Siberian Indian Dog) and an Anatolian/Great Pyrenees. They are spoiled rotten. I would have six or seven dogs, but my husband will only put up with two.

Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to visit with us today.
