My Review of The Soul by Luiza Dobrzynska:
On Earth sometime in the future humans have evolved. They
now know who is capable of having children and who is not. The Number of
children anyone can have is now controlled.
Our heroine Etta decides to buy herself an android as a
companion not a boyfriend so to speak. It is thought to believe that androids
are not capable of having feelings but Etta’s new companion may just prove that
theory wrong as he likes to take trips to the library in order to learn new
things.
Earth is in danger so Etta and her trust worthy android
embark on a dangerous mission in space to save Earth, the human race and the
androids. But they will have to face a few battles before they reach their
destination.
Etta and her android have to deal with prejudices from
family and friends. Most people don’t think that androids can feel or think for
themselves. They are afraid that the androids will rise up against them and
become their superior.
The Soul is very intense and will draw you in from the
beginning and keep you flipping those pages. Etta is a strong willed person
with a good heart that will stand up for what she believes to be the right
thing. I can’t wait to see where Etta and her android are headed next.
I would recommend The Soul to all fans of science fiction.
