My Review:

Sweet Sixteen: An Awake Short Story is a wonderful little introduction into a new world of zombies. Sweet Sixteen gives us an insight into Olivia “Liv” Stone’s life and family before the dead awoke and how her story began.

Liv was attending her little sister’s sweet sixteenth birthday party when the screams begin and Liv finds herself separated from her family and fighting for her life without really knowing what is going on.

The neighbors have crashed the party, attacking and eating the guest. As Liv fights her way through the zombie infested party goers trying not to get bitten all while she is looking for her mother, sister and step-father when her story begins.

After reading Awake I was only too happy to read Sweet Sixteen and get an introduction as to how the zombie apocalypse started for Liv and her family. I am always up for seeing how each characters story began for them.

Sweet Sixteen did not disappoint in the least as it was filled with lots of action and unpredictability. I love me some zombies and I do hope to see more of Liv in the future as I hope she has more to say or at least may be, hopefully this new take on the zombies and this world.

I highly recommend Sweet Sixteen and Awake to anyone who loves zombies and an apocalyptic world. One click your copy today!
