Parental mirroring and its lifelong affects… The point of view from where I approach this topic alternates between that of a parent and that of a child. Please note, every parent has been a child and still carries that child within. And every child has the potential to become a parent or an educator and pass along what they learned when they grew up. If you don’t have children or don’t plan on becoming a parent, considering both viewpoints will give you insight into your own childhood conclusions and the potential reasons behind them.

Whether or not a child develops healthy motivation depends on the way parents relate to their child. Do they really see their child as being his/her own unique individual instead of as an extension of themselves? During childhood, a constellation is put in place that determines susceptibility to insomnia later in life.

Why do some children end up automatically with a healthy sense of self while others don’t?
