Don’t fear the walking dead. Dominate them.

Yasmine Alvarado has a secret life and a haunted past.

A single mother living in the remote mountain community of Sparrowdale, Colorado, Yasmine is a survivor. Having escaped a sadistic, psychopathic husband, she now secretly moonlights as a private dominatrix while raising her teenage daughter, Charlie.

But when a mysterious, horrifying plague is unleashed, turning countless people into ravenous, undead monsters, Yasmine’s dungeon turns deadly.

All alone, with the world crumbling all around her, Yasmine will have to confront her deepest, darkest nightmares, and risk everything to save her daughter. Will she be able to survive the onslaught of the dead?

Dom of the Dead is a thrilling, dramatic, post-apocalyptic page-turner, a standalone novella set in Nic Roads’ upcoming Zombie Vale series.

My Review:

Dom of the Dead starts out with a bang and never lets up from front to back. There is action from the first page to the last. Dom of the Dead tells the story of a zombie outbreak and a young woman who is raising a teenage daughter on her own as she left her abusive husband a while back.

Yasmine Alvarado lives a secret life from her daughter, Charlie. Yasmine is a dominatrix. Yasmine was working and had a few clients tide up when the zombie apocalypse hit her little dungeon. Her clients go wild, started growling at her, and the next thing she knew she was fighting for her life.

Yasmine’s next thought was her daughter, Charlie. Charlie is trapped at home by one of those monsters. Yasmine must get home to Charlie before she losses her daughter to that monster.

Yasmine’s trip home was a wild one as she fought her way through a zombie-infested world, saving people along the way. Yasmine is one tough lady who knows how to take care of herself.

Dom of the Dead was a fun little read that kept me hooked from the first page to the last with never a dull moment in between. I am a big zombie fan and let me tell you Dom of the Dead did not disappoint in the least. I can’t wait to read more from this world of zombies.

I highly recommend Dom of the Dead to all zombie fans like myself. One-click your copy of Dom of the Dead and step into the world of the dead for another great zombie adventure!
