The virus has arrived.

A deadly virus that destroys humanity.

A virus that replaces the living with creatures that crave human flesh.

Follow Cassie as she desperately searches for her brother; Heidi as she tries to cope with the consequences of her actions; and Ginge as she takes on a new role of keeping everyone alive.

My Review:

A deadly virus has swept across the land. A virus that turns anyone who is bitten by an affected into the undead. It is fast and it is swift and it does not play favorites. This virus will take down anyone who gets in its way.

If you want to survive then you must run, hide, and stay as quiet as possible and above all else, always, always stay alert, scanning the area around you. Never, never even once let your mind rest and come to think you are safe cause you are never, ever safe in a zombie apocalypse.

Apocalypse is told from more than one character's point of view as the virus breaks out and they are trying to make their way to safety. In the beginning, they are running and running just trying to stay alive as they figure out what to do and what is going on. Once they get their bearings they set out to find their friends and a safe place for them all from the zombies.

There is lots of zombie fighting and killing along the way. The action never stops as they hunt for their friends. There was more than one occasion when I really thought they were all done for but these guys are tough characters. Some will be around for the long hall but I fear some may not.

I love zombies and have read quite a few zombie books I never seem to grow tired of them. Each zombie book that I have read just seems to get better and better and let me tell you, Apocalypse has made it to the top of my list of zombie books! The descriptions are so vivid you feel as if you are right there fighting zombies with all the characters. Which of course that, is something you hope never becomes real.

Hayley Anderton makes Apocalypse come alive right on the page. Once I picked up Apocalypse there was no way I could or would lay it down until I had read the last page and even then or now I still want more. I want to know where Hayley, Apocalypse, the characters, and the zombies take us next.

And of course, I highly recommend Apocalypse to all zombie fans! One-click your copy of Apocalypse now only if you are in for a horrifying grand adventure!
