My Review of The Dead Trilogy:
A Long Time Dead
In the first book of The Dead Trilogy, A Long Time Dead a woman is found dead and all the evidence points
to one Scene of Crimes Officer Roger Conniston. SOCO Roger Coniston is cheating
on his wife is about to lose her.
A Long Time Dead
is a fast paced read. It pulled me in from the first chapter and never let go.
It is filled with suspense and likes to hold on to its secrets in various ways.
It will keep you guessing and the pages turning.
Stealing Elgar
In the second book of The Dead Trilogy, Stealing Elgar, mob boss gangster Hades’ daughter has been
kidnapped by the people the he stole guns from and now they would like those
guns back, the reason for the kidnapping. Hades kidnaps Roger’s wife Yvonne so
he can blackmail him into changing a few police records for him.
The action is non-stop in Stealing Elgar with so many murders and the kidnappings. Stealing Elgar has it all like murder,
mystery, suspense, kidnapping, action it is intense and so very intriguing and
all the crimes are vividly written.
No More Tears
In the third book of The Dead Trilogy, No More Tears, Roger Conniston, SOCO is still grieving the death of
his wife Yvonne and sets out to make the people responsible for her death pay. A
hit has been put out on Roger’s life from the grave.
The suspense and action alone will keep you glued to the
pages. Like its predecessors No More
Tears is very descriptively written so much so that you can see everything
you are reading in your head like watching a movie.
A Long Time Dead
Everyone trusts Roger. He’s got an honest face… for a killer.
Two dead women. All the evidence points to Scenes of Crime
Officer, Roger Conniston. The real killer uses Roger’s sordid secrets against
him until no one believes he is innocent. He’s about to lose his job, his wife,
and his freedom. But the killer wants it all; the killer wants Roger’s life
too, and time is running out.
My Review of A Long Time Dead:
A young woman is found dead in bed with her throat slashed
and all evidence points to Officer Roger Conniston. Roger is about to lose his
job and his wife. It appears that Roger is cheating on his wife with more than
one woman. He has been thrown out of the house.
Did Roger kill this woman? Did he cheat on his wife? Is
Roger being framed for a crime that he did not commit?
When all the clues start pointing to Roger as the murderer
and he is accused of cheating on his wife the story became very confusing for
me at this point because I was like how can the clues point to Roger when
earlier in the book it told a different tale. Yeah I was scratching my head at
this. And when his wife says he didn’t do something when earlier in the book I
had read that he did. Am I right? I am not sure as I am very confused now.
Needless to say by this time I was like oh yeah the author
is just trying to throw me off and it worked so very well as I did not have a
clue at this point as to what was going on. But I was determined as Roger to
find out what was happening. After this I was definitely hooked and couldn’t
turn the pages fast enough to see how it all would turn out.
A Long Time Dead is a fast paced read. It pulled me in from
the first chapter and never let go. It is filled with suspense and likes to
hold on to its secrets in various ways. It will keep you guessing and the pages
turning.
I highly recommend A Long Time Dead to all suspense,
Thriller, Mystery and Crime novels. One click yourself a copy today!
Stealing Elgar
No one can question Roger’s loyalty. Except those he won’t
give it to.
Scenes of Crime Officer, Roger Conniston, ventures out alone
to find his wife. He doesn’t trust the police anymore, and he despises the man
who kidnapped her.
Hades is a brutal killer who is planning Britain’s largest
robbery, and needs Roger’s compliance.
When he found out that she was literally sitting on a bomb,
Roger’s compliance turns to fury.
But will his fury get him there in time?
My Review of Stealing Elgar:
A mob boss gangster sort of person known as Hades acquired
some guns a while back with the help of his police officer brother Weston they
took the guns from an Irish group and now the Irish want their guns back. To
help them to get their guns back the Irish kidnap Hades daughter.
Hades loves his daughter more than anything and vows to do
everything in his power to get his daughter back. Hades then proceeds to kidnap
SOCO officer Roger Conniston’s wife Yvonne. I guess Hades thinks that
kidnapping Roger’s wife that it will make the police work harder on finding his
daughter before it is too late.
Even though Roger and Yvonne have had their differences in
the past with Roger cheating on her; they are now trying to make their marriage
work. When Yvonne is kidnapped I guess it all hits home with him and he
realizes just how much his wife actually means to him and he sets out to do
whatever it takes to get back the love of his life.
The action is non-stop in Stealing Elgar with so many
murders and the kidnappings. Stealing Elgar has it all like murder, mystery,
suspense, kidnapping, action it is intense and so very intriguing and all the
crimes are vividly written.
We get all the evidence and the clues which shows us
whodunit from the get go but we get to see how the police work their case and
how they come by their evidence and how they prove whodunit. Stealing Elgar and
all the scenes are so very descriptively written to where you have no problem
seeing it all play out in your head like a movie. Oh and speaking of movies I
think Stealing Elgar would make a great motion picture.
Stealing Elgar is one book that I recommend to anyone who
loves a good crime novel but I do suggest that you read the first book A Long
Time Dead in The Dead Trilogy before reading Stealing Elgar in order to get the
whole picture and not to miss out on anything. Now I can’t wait to dive into
the next and last book No More Tears in The Dead Trilogy.
No More Tears
Roger is about to pull the trigger. And then decides to
forgive himself.
SOCO Roger Conniston’s fury hasn’t subsided, and he selects
a name from a list of Hades’ ex-gang members. That name is Jess.
A few miles away, a killer reads a name on a letter. That
name is Roger Conniston, and that killer is Jess.
But someone even closer has a mind for vengeance, and he
wants them both dead.
When fighting a killer becomes a battle for revenge – this
is No More Tears
My Review of No More Tears:
Roger Conniston, Scene of Crime Officer is still grieving
the death of his beloved wife Yvonne. Roger sets out to make the people responsible
for her death pay although the main guy is already dead there is still others
that had a hand in her killing and he is determined to make them pay as well.
A hit has been put out on Roger’s life from the grave so not
only is he now running from the police he is on the run and in hiding from the
one person who is trying to kill him. Is Roger innocent? If so can he prove
that he is? Will Roger find the ones responsible for his wife’s death? Will he
make them pay for what they have done? Will Roger take matters into his own
hands or will he turn him over the police?
As with the first two books in The Dead Trilogy No More
Tears will grab your attention from the first page and never let up until the
last page is turned. The suspense and action alone will keep you glued to the
pages. Like its predecessors No More Tears is very descriptively written so
much so that you can see everything you are reading in your head like watching
a movie.
I highly recommend No More Tears to all thriller, suspense
and mystery with lots of non-stop action.
