Virtual Book Tour + #Giveaway: Claiming His Charge by Susan Horsnell @RABTBookTours
Date Published: January 24, 2020
Jordan Phillips, ex-military,he now co-owns a security company with his ex-team leader.
He works covert operations, removing marks from foreign countries where government forces cannot go.
The last thing he wants to do is babysit an opinionated rock star.
Dallas Munroe is the opinionated rock star.
After a death threat, his manager beefs up security, by hiring Jordan's company.
Dallas is not impressed. He feels the threat is a hoax and the last thing he wants is a guard shadowing his every move.
Will these two ever get along?
Who is behind the death threat, and is it for real?
Travel the cities of Australia as the band tours. Meet up with the stars from the Outback Australia Series when the band performs at a charity concert in Bourke and learn what part they play in events as they unfold.
Interview with Susan Horsnell
What was the hardest
scene from your book to write?
The sex scenes are
always the hardest. To make them a relevant part of the story.
Why did you choose to
write in your particular field or genre?
I write in several
genres – Sweet Western Historical Romance, Steamy Western Historical Romance, Contemporary
Romance, M/M, I have a Ménage, a Shapeshifter PNR, and Australian Outback. We
travel a great deal which gives me storylines and I have a rather over-active
imagination.
If you write in more
than one genre, how do you balance them?
I honestly have no
idea haha. I write one story in one genre because the idea pops up and then I
will write a few in the particular genre until other characters begin speaking.
What did you enjoy
most about writing this book?
I adore my M/M
characters and I had written several Sweet Westerns prior to this – I needed to
cut loose haha. I particularly enjoyed taking them around my home country –
Australia and describing some of the fascinating points of interest through
their eyes. I really enjoyed bringing my Flying Doctor Team from the Outback
Australia Series in also.
What book that you
have read has most influenced your life?
No one book in
particular. I have always been an avid reader and take pieces from every
non-fiction book I read.
Tell us a little
about yourself? Perhaps something not many people know?
I was a dancer
growing up and spent many hours in training and performing on the stage, in
theatre and on television. I spent 2 years with the Australian Ballet in their
junior program from the age of 12. I retired from dancing to take up Nursing –
something I had wanted as far back as I could remember, and it was my passion.
I was also a recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh Award when in high school. I
write a little of personal experience into every book I write.
Can you tell us
something about your book that is not in the summary?
There is mystery
thread throughout the book about who is threatening Dallas, the reason why he
has Jordan’s protection on the bands’ tour of the country. My ARC team did not
guess the perpetrator until it was revealed, which was my intention.
Thank you for
spotlighting my book and for having me

About the Author
My husband of 45 years, together with our elderly Jack Russell Terrier and extremely opinionated 26-year-old Cockatiel, enjoy exploring the country with our caravan.
When we are at home, which is a small rural village, we spend our time renovating our home.
I write a variety of stories including Western Historical Romance, Contemporary Romance, Male/Male, Ménage and Shapeshifter.
Each book has a strong focus on the storyline with romantic interest building throughout.
I explore real-life issues from kids on the streets to motorcycle war and put my own twist on each one.
