Blurb:

A dangerous plant. A spoiled prince. What could possibly go wrong?

My job is to provide the entertainment for Prince Percival’s party.

Too bad that the job involves venturing into a dangerous forest, dealing with nasty plants, and antagonizing the whole court.

My life has just gone to the dogs.

My Review:

Prince Percival’s birthday is coming up and the prince enlist Virgie and Nathans help to plan his party. He wants it to be the best party ever. The Prince wants a maze for his birthday and some plants from the Forrest of Illusions for the maze. He gives Virgie and Nathan a list of the plants he wants with descriptions of each plant.

Virgie, Nathan, Peony and Caleb all make the trip to the Forrest of Illusions. The Forrest of Illusions is a very dangerous place as the plants can be very dangerous indeed. Virgie, Nathan, Peony and Caleb must go into the Forrest of Illusions and face the plants and hopefully make it back out.

Coming back out may not be as easy as it sounds. The effects of the plants could be very harmful for our little group. Can they make it through the Forrest of Illusions unharmed? How will the plants affect them? No one wants to go into the Forrest of Illusions but not obeying Prince Percival could result in them being punished.

Cunning Fae was a very entertaining read that kept me glued to the pages for about an hour give or take a few minutes. Cunning Fae is a very insightful look into the world of the Fae Prison Academy. What an amazing little gem.
