My review is for A Foretold Witch by Ashley McLeo.
A Foretold Witch is told from Alex Wardell’s point of view.
A Foretold Witch is a short story from Ashley McLeo’s Spellcasters Spy Academy series.
A Foretold Witch takes place during one of Alex’s training sessions.
Alex’s partner for this lesson is Odette.
Alex and Odette’s lesson turns ugly when their lesson is hijacked by an evil person. Alex is forced to use magic that he has not been given permission to use at this stage in his training. But if he and Odette wants to make it out alive he has no choice. As they say, it is better to ask forgiveness than permission. Well on some occasions maybe.
A Foretold Witch maybe a short story but it packs a lot of punch. It is a story that holds your attention from beginning to end with lots of action in between.
I can’t wait to check out more stories from this collection of short stories told by different authors.
