My Review:
The Queen of the Ocean, Madam Deep has risen and taken the crown. Leilani and Keanu have been taken by Madam Deep. She has heard that Leilani’s tears turn to pearls. She needs/wants the pearls for her own ill gain.
Keanu was taken to draw in Leilani. Keanu will do as the Queen asks for now. He will bide his time until the day and time come for him and Leilani to save the day. He will save Leilani from the evil queen if it is the last thing he ever does.
Leilani loves Keanu with all her heart and will do whatever it takes to get him back even if that means trading herself for him. Leilani wants to save Keanu and the world from the evil queen.
After arriving at Madam Deep’s lair and seeing Keanu, Leilani is not sure if she can trust him anymore. She has no idea if there is anyone left to whom she can turn to for help in saving Keanu and the world.
Can she save Keanu and everyone else from the evil queen? Does Keanu want to be saved? Or has the evil queen’s influence turned him against Leilani? Or is it more like she has not given Keanu much choice but to take her side?
Lynn Robin has done it again, crafted a very engaging story with my favorite characters Leilani and Keanu. The world that was created for The Sea of Her series is just brilliant. I love the combination of tears and pearls.
The Deep of Him was just as awesome if not more so than the first three books The Sea of Her in series. All the twists kept me hanging on for more. The suspense ranked up its stars as well.
I can’t wait for the next book in The Sea of Her series, The Pearls of Her due to be released, March 15, 2022.
