Deal with it, whatever it is.

Don’t make it worse with quick fixes or by numbing the pain.

Whatever you do, when you are healing your heart from a loss and/or breakup or are just overwhelmed with life stuff, do not engage in self-destructive behaviour that makes all problems worse. Do constructive things, be good to yourself. Buy yourself flowers and take bubble baths and eat well. Visit good friends and take a walk outside and really appreciate the sun and the wind on your face.

Drowning your sorrows in excessive drinking, drugs, internet, and eating does not work. Be good to yourself. You deserve it. Ask for help. You will be fine. You’ll be better than fine. You’ll be fabulous!
