What if surviving a murder attempt, a heartbreak, and the loss of the family business wasn’t the hardest thing you ever faced?

Carol is the sole heir to a broken empire, Ricardo the newest celebrity in the rock world.

When they came together, their fire blazed. When their past caught up, they were left burned, scorched to the ground.

When a psychopath decides it’s payback time, Carol is faced with an impossible choice – save her son or sell her life.

Ricardo wants nothing to do with the woman who played him for a fool, but finds himself moored by circumstances, half truths, and memories of the past.

They say time can heal anything. So far, time's brought nothing but complications.

This is a standalone romantic thriller told in alternating timelines and point of views. Warnings include character overdose and mentions of child abuse.

My Review:

From Fame to Ruin is told from different points of view. It is also told in different times, past and present. From Fame to Ruin starts off with a bang and never lets up from page one to the last.

A little boy is kidnapped. The mother turns to the father for help in finding her son. Mother and Father met a few years back on a train and spent a few wonderful days together before they had to go their separate ways back to their own lives.

When the mother contacted the father after learning she was pregnant he thought she was trying to run a scam on him. He didn’t believe her when she told him she was pregnant with his child.

After her son was kidnapped she had no one else to turn to. Once again faith has thrown these two lovers together again. Is their love meant to be? Can they overcome everything that has transpired between them to find their son before time runs out? Can they let bygones be bygones? Is this their second chance for love? Who took their son and why? Is he still alive? Where is he?

From Fame to Ruin has many secrets between its page that it reveals slowly over time. Once I opened From Fame to Ruin to that first page I was drawn into its world leaving my own behind. Yes, when that first page was turned I was hooked. I must admit I was sad to see the end. Although I was racing to the end to see how it was all going to play out.

From Fame to Ruin pulled out lots of different emotions for me. There were times when I was sad, frustrated, and angry but there were some happy moments as well.

There were quite a few shocking twists that left me bewildered as to why and I never gave any thought to them happening beforehand either. I wanted to give someone a great big shake so many times throughout.

The mystery and suspense alone were enough to keep me on the edge of my seat trying to figure it all out. I liked going back in the past and learning how Ricardo and Carol met and learning more about them and their lives.

I would recommend From Fame to Ruin to anyone who loves second chance love stories as well as romantic suspense stories! So grab your copy of From Fame to Ruin today!

About the Author:

Jina Bazzar is a Palestinian author, born and raised in Brazil.

Like most writers, her love of books began at a young age. Unlike most writers, she never aspired to become one.

It was only years after she became blind that she tried her hand at writing, giving voice to all the wild, rambling thoughts in her mind.

She now lives in Palestine with her family, taking inspiration from the smallest things in life. When she’s not writing or networking on social media, you can find her in the kitchen, baking while listening to (often very loud) music.
