You can choose your friends, but you can’t choose your family…

Quirk and Moth have avoided killing each other long enough to solve another case. They decide on a local job next, and take up the search for a missing scientist. How could Quirk know this new mystery put them on a headlong collision course with his troubled past, a plethora of personal issues, and a hoard of genetic hybrid creatures with an appetite for anything that moves?

When their client dies in mysterious circumstances, law enforcement pursues the dysfunctional duo all the way to a research lab in frozen Yellowknife. Can Quirk and Moth find the scientist before they are banged up for murder, or has she already been eaten? Is it coincidence Quirk’s father-in-law bought the company? Can they expose the shadow from Quirk’s past and clear their names?

Quirk and Moth need time, but it’s fast running out, and the bodies are piling up. Find out what happens in The Carborundum Conundrum!

My Review:

Quirk and Moth are hired to find a missing scientist. During their investigation, they find the person who hired them dead. Quirk and Moth wake up next to a dead body with the police standing over them. Will Quirk and Moth be arrested for murder? Did they kill this man? If not who did? Can they prove their innocents before it is too late?

This case opens up a whole lot of worms from Quirk’s past. Dead bodies are popping up everywhere. Can they find the killer before more bodies are found?

The Carborundum Conundrum is filled with twists and turns that kept me glued to the pages as I raced to the end to see if Quirk and Moth were going to make it out alive this time around.

The Carborundum Conundrum is told from different points of view. The descriptions are so vividly written to the point where I had no problem whatsoever seeing it all in my head as if I was a part of Quirk and Moth’s world. I can’t wait to read more about Quirk and Moth and whatever case comes their way next.

I would recommend The Carborundum Conundrum to any mystery fan! Grab your copy of The Carborundum Conundrum today!
