My Review:

The Alliance is the second book in The Hybrian Series L. Wood. The Alliance was just as good as the first book The Vault if not better in lots of ways. I love the world that was created for The Hybrian Series. I would sorely love to read more about this world in future books.

I loved that the characters didn’t need powers to fight but I am glad they had them. Don’t get me wrong I don’t like the way that they got them but since they do have them that is a good thing for me as a reader. The Alliance can be disturbing at times but I know that it is only fiction and not real so that is ok.

The Alliance picks up where the first book The Vault left off with Harper still trying to protect the ones she cares about. An evil doctor wants Harper. He wants to use her to make his super soldiers even stronger and better. To keep her friends safe Harper takes off by herself.

But there was one thing Harper was not thinking about and that is that her friends would track her down. They find her at about the same time as the good doctor or more like the evil doctor that is.

But this is a good thing for the evil doctor as he wants to use her friends as a way to get Harper to cooperate in his little experiments. To take things a little further the good doctor or more like the evil doctor also uses her friends in his little experiments as well. Harper and her friends never give up trying to save one another from this evil doctor.

While The Alliance has many twists and turns it also has quite a few secrets that I never believed to be possible. When I read some of these secrets they were very surprising leaving me with my mouth hanging open trying to figure out what had just happened. I was like no way that is not possible how could that happen, no way. But of course, it was, yes way.

Like the first book The Vault, I highly recommend The Alliance to all dystopia fans! Grab a copy of The Alliance today! But I do suggest reading book one The Vault before reading book two The Alliance as they need to be read in order.

Be sure to check out all the books in The Hybrian Series.
