Juliette Ferrars has been locked up for 264 days. She hasn't seen nor spoken to anyone in 264 days. The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. Juliette didn't do anything wrong, all she did was touch someone. Her touch is deadly. All her life all she's ever wanted was for someone to love her, to be her friend. Her parents abandoned her when she was very small child.
One day they put Adam Kent in the cell with her. Juliette knew Adam when they were children but she thinks that Adam does not remember her. Warner, the leader of The Reestablishment had Kent put in the cell with Juliette to spy on her. Warner wants Juliette on his side because to him Juliette can kill people with her bare hands just by touching them would be a great assect to him and his army.
What Juliette doesn't know when they put Adam in the cell with her but finds out later is that Adam does remember her. Adam wants to help Juliette take her away so that she can live a normal life. After Adam spends sometime with Juliette in her cell, Warner has both of them taken back to his army base. Warner tries to talk Juliette into being apart of his little army but she will not help him to kill anyone.
Juliette and Adam escape with Warner and his men hot on their trail. They go to where Adam and his little brother, James live. Kenji Kishimoto a friend of Adams who is also a soldier in Warner's little army follows Adam to his home. While trying to escape Warner a second time Adam and Kenji are injured. Kenji takes them to his friends.
I won Shatter Me from Turning The Pages 200 follower Giveaway. I loved Shatter Me it was a great book with a lot of twist and turns that keeps you turning pages and wanting to know more. A page turner that will keep you up half the night. I really liked Juliette because she never felt sorry for herself or whined to anyone about her problems or that she didn't get want she wanted. I loved how she handle the situation when her and Adam was interupted one night by Adam's little brother James. She didn't think about herself, she was worried about James and the life that he had been dealt. Have you read Shatter Me? What did you think? Leave me a comment and let me know. I would love to hear your thoughts on Shatter Me.
