Wishlist Wednesday #4

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop where we will post about one book per week that has been on our wishlist for some time, or just added (it's entirely up to you), that we can't wait to get off the wishlist and onto our wonderful shelves.

  • Follow Pen to Paper as host of the meme.
  • Please consider adding the blog hop button to your blog somewhere, so others can find it easily and join in too! Help spread the word! The code will be at the bottom of the post under the linky.
  • Pick a book from your wishlist that you are dying to get to put on your shelves.
  • Do a post telling your readers about the book and why it's on your wishlist.
  • Add your blog to the linky at the bottom of the post on Pen to Paper.
  • Put a link back to pen to paper somewhere in your post.
  • Visit the other blogs and enjoy!

On My Wishlist Week #4:

The Burning Bush (Habitat, #2)

The Burning Bush (Habitat #2) by Kenya Wright

Expected publication: May 2012 by Dragonfairy Press

Goodreads synopsis:

After Dante Bottelli’s slaughter of Vamp-owned Mixbreeds, Lanore and Zulu execute a well-planned attack that hits Dante where it hurts the most—his pockets. But their attack triggers a chain of unfortunate events, and allows Detective Rivera to blackmail Lanore.

Rivera forces Lanore to investigate his case, the Burning Bush murders. Someone's been tying girls to bushes and setting them on fire. Lanore must find the killer, or Rivera goes public with his information.

Meanwhile, Dante won't take his defeat without a fight. He counterattacks and the Santeria habitat, as well as Lanore’s and Zulu’s lives, are changed forever.

The reason I chose The Burning Bush (Habitat #2) is because I just read Fire Baptized (Habitat #1) and really loved it. I want to know more about Lanore, Zulu and Meshack. Will Zulu and Lanore stay in "The Habitat" or will they try to excape? I want to know more about the caged city called "The Habitat" that the humans force them to live in . Kenya Wright is becoming one of my favorite writers. I love how she has added a new twist to the whole supernatural world.

I hadn't heard of this series before but it sounds really interesting. Not long to wait for it's release now :)
