This weeks Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Tips For New Book Bloggers

My Top Ten Tips For New Book Bloggers

  1. Try to post at least 3 times a week. Pick the days that you want to post and try to stay with that schedule.
  2. Don't promise authors that you will review their books and then you end up having more books to review than you can handle. (Thanks Kimberly @ Turning The Pages)
  3. Do meme's they will help in getting more followers for your blog.
  4. Doing blog hops and giveaways will also help in getting more followers.
  5. Join sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Book Blogs, Pinterest and Goodreads to promote your blog doing this will help in getting more followers for your blog.
  6. If someone follows your blog, likes your Facebook page, follows you on Twitter, joins your circle on Google+, becomes your friend on Book Blogs or Goodreads or follows you on Pinterest please be kind and return the favor.
  7. Try to post content that is related to your blog. Don't get off topic.
  8. Visit your followers and leave comments on their blogs.
  9. Visit new blogs and follow their blogs and hopefully they will return the favor.
  10. Share your post on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Goodreads, Amazon, Smashwords ect...

I try to follow these 10 tips myself but sometimes I do fall by the way side. I put to much on my plate at one time thinking "yeah, I can do it" and then other stuff in my life comes along and interferes with all that I have planed out.

Leave me a comment with your Top Ten list. I would very much like to see what tips you have. I may find some good tips to apply to my own life or blogging technique. Thanks for stopping in for a visit. I love my visitors.

I'm not very good with the social networking but I know that it's something I have to work on. I think it's great too that you mentioned going to new blogs. I think sometimes people forget that new blogs start up everyday.

These are some great tips. I have found myself overwhelmed with books to review at times. I've started keeping a schedule, and I have stopped requesting/accepting so many books.

Here is my Top Ten

Awesome list - and I wish I had added that disclaimer at the end of my list oo, because sometimes we forget or get caught up in other things. But these are really good habits to practice.

Great reminder with 2. It's no good to be stressed with a hobby that's supposed to be fun.
