Blurb:

His soul filled with hate, Master Scout Terrllss-rr goes to Anar’on, the world of the Wanderers, to find Teena his loved one, and to avenge himself against his brother Dharaklin. In a moment that would have unleashed the hand of Death, Terr is confronted by a shattering personal revelation. To slake his thirst with the blood of his brother, Terr must be prepared to forsake Teena’s love and face personal oblivion. Damaged in a running fight with the Orieli, a Celi-Kran warship takes shelter on a Serrll frontier world. Not believing the enormity of the threat confronting them, the Serrll Scout Fleet receives a vivid demonstration of the meaning of total destruction. With the god of Death in his hands, Terr faces the Kran menace.

My Review:

In Through the Valley of Shadow Terr is still looking for his wife Teena who was taken by his brother Dhar. Terr has been real upset over Teena’s disappearance, Terr has learned that Dhar has taken Teena to the planet Anar’on. Terr has every intention of making his brother pay for taking her.

Terr believes that Dhar took Teena out of evilness but it is looking as if that may not be the case. As we visit with Teena and Dhar on Anar’on we start to see a different side to Dhar and learn that his reasons for taking Teena may not be for the reason Terr believes.

In Through the Valley of Shadow we learn the true reason behind Dhar kidnapping Teena and who the real culprit behind the whole thing. We also learn why this person sent Dhar on this mission. I will have to say the person behind Teena’s kidnapping sort of surprised me. It was not what I was expecting at all.

Through the Valley of Shadow is a fast paced read that will pull you in from the beginning and keep you on the edge of your seat as you fly through space from one planet to another trying to keep up with all the action and the twists throughout the story and rooting for Terr and Teena from beginning to end. I can’t wait to dive into the next book Guardians of Shadow to see where Terr, Dhar and Teena take us on their next adventures through space and time.

I recommend Through the Valley of Shadow to all fans of Science Fiction, aliens and space to give this one a try.
