Blurb:

After traveling the country in hopes of reaching the sanctuary of home, Rowan finds herself in a world turned upside down. Her parents are gone, and she’s surrounded by people she barely knows, and the only refuge she’s ever known is anything but safe. Zombies have taken over not just her hometown, but the rest of the world as well, and now she must work with fellow survivors, Devon and Kiaya, to find a way to survive this strange new world.

Too bad the extinction of civilization hasn’t erased the complications of everyday life. Between learning to survive in a world overtaken by the dead and struggling to work through her grief over losing everything, Rowan must navigate her growing attraction for Devon, as well as deal with her suspicion that something isn’t right with some of their fellow survivors.

Just when she thinks she has a hold on the emotional rollercoaster of this new world,
someone from her past makes a surprise – and unwanted – reentry into her life, bringing with them a seed of hope that threatens to once again flip everything upside down.

My Review:

Rowan has finally made it to her safe haven, home. Yeah well its not as safe as she was hoping as zombies have overtaken her neighborhood. Rowan finds her undead mother wondering the streets outside her home. The last she heard of her father he was on duty at the hospital. Rowan believes that if he has not made it home by now then he has probably joined the undead.

Far From Safe tells the story of a small group of survivors fighting to stay alive in a world gone mad. Their food is running out and the survivors must face the undead in hopes of scavenging enough to help tide them over until they can make it to a more permanent safe haven. Join Rowan, Devon, Kiaya and others as they venture out into this world of madness in search of food and a safe place to live.

In Far From Safe the descriptions are so vividly written that I could see it all playing out in my head as if I was right there with Rowan and I could almost hear the squishing sound as she plunged her knife into a zombies head. It was ad if I could feel her pain when she saw her undead mother wondering around the streets. I felt so bad for her.

When I was reading Far From Safe and they were fighting zombies it was as if I was watching an episode of The Walking Dead. I don’t know why but I kept seeing the zombies in a fog or mist creepy like scene. Oh I love this zombie world from the Far Series and can’t wait to read more of it. Waiting for the next book in the Far Series is what truly leaves me on the edge of my seat just thinking about it.

Come join Rowan, Devon, Kiaya and the others as they fight their way through this mad world to find their safe haven in Far From Safe. I think you will want to start with the first book in the Far Series Far From Home to see how and where Rowan’s journey began.

If you are a fan of zombies or The Walking Dead then you are definitely going to love Far From Safe. One click your copy of Far From Safe today to begin an adventure into the world of the undead! Don’t forget to check out Far From Home first.
