One week before Sage Pope’s sixteenth birthday her world was turned upside down. The world as she knows it is gone forever. Sage is a high school student who loves playing softball. Sage has been ripped from one world and thrown into another. A world that she didn’t even know existed. A world full of magic.
Sage is yanked from her life by the people who adopted her and introduced to a new world of witches and magic. Sage was adopted by Pennies after her mother’s death. Sage has been living with Pennies to keep her safe. But now that her powers are about to manifest she has been taken in by the Circle, an elite Wiccan coven to protect her from the people who want to hurt her. What is Pennies? To find out read The Secret Circle today!
In the coven, Sage is introduced to teenagers like herself but there is one difference between Sage and these other teenagers. The teens that she meets in the coven have lived there all their lives. They know who and what they are unlike Sage. They have trained every day to use their powers so they can become stronger and stronger.
The Secret Circle grabbed my attention from the first page or maybe it was the summary. Once I picked up The Secret Circle it pulled me into its world and didn’t let go until I had turned the last page. I love this magical world that was created for The Secret Circle.
The Secret Circle reminded me of a few books I’ve read like Alicia Rades’ The Coven's Secret, Megan Linski & Alicia Rades’ The Fire Prophecy as well as P.C. Cast & Kristin Cast’s House of Night series.
If you have read any of the books I mentioned above or even anything by one of the authors mentioned above then I do believe that you would truly love reading The Secret Circle as well. If you are into magic, witches and magical worlds then I would suggest that you grab a copy of The Secret Circle, today to begin this magical journey!
