My Review:
Wild Women Do (And They Don't Regret It) is the second book in the Wild in Love series by Cherie Marks. Wild Women Do (And They Don't Regret It) is also a part of the Magic and Mayhem Universe. The Magic and Mayhem Universe was created by Robyn Peterman. The Magic and Mayhem Universe has many wonderful stories written by many different authors.
We first met Hollyn and Kai in A Real Wild One Wild in the first book of the Wild in Love series. Hollyn was being held captive by her father but she escaped. She met Kai, a pilot, and hired him to fly her to an island. Hollyn is looking for the missing piece of an amulet. If she can find this missing piece she hopes it will help save her from her father.
Hollyn and Kai are still looking for the missing piece of the amulet in Women Do (And They Don't Regret It). Hollyn is not sure who she can trust anymore. She is not sure she can totally trust Kai either. Kai feels the same way. Kai wants the missing piece of the amulet as well. Kai believes if he can make the amulet whole again it will reveal who he is. Kai was abandoned as a baby.
On their quest to find the missing piece of the amulet, Hollyn and Kai get a little sidetracked. A teenage girl goes missing. Hollyn and Kai decide to help find this girl and return her to her home. But this girl Willow is more than meets the eye as she is a powerful witch. She has magic that not many know about or have themselves.
Finding Willow may give Hollyn the shock of her life when she learns of things that she did not know before. Things that her family has kept her in the dark about. Can Willow and Kai find Willow before it is too late? Can they save this poor girl from her kidnappers? What is waiting for Hollyn if she does?
As always I really enjoy reading any book that Cherie Marks writes and I must say that Wild Women Do (And They Don't Regret It) was no exception. And just like A Real Wild One Wild, Wild Women Do (And They Don't Regret It) had me in its clutches the moment I opened it and read that first page.
After that my world disappeared and I was lost in Hollyn and Kai’s world once again. I enjoyed meeting all the new characters and getting to know them especially Willow as she was a treat.
Although Wild Women Do (And They Don't Regret It) can be read as a standalone I wouldn’t suggest it as I know you don’t want to miss the moment when Hollyn and Kai met and how their worlds collided, do you? Besides if you do then you would be missing out on another wonderful story.
