My Review:
Defying Evil is the first book by Abbie Roads that I have read. Now I am wondering why I waited so long. Abbie Roads pulled me in from the very beginning and kept me hooked to the end.
The suspense and the gory details kept me going. Abbie Roads is very descriptive when it comes to describing the scenes. If you are not into gory, horrific crimes then Defying Evil may not be for you.
Defying Evil tells the story of the son of a serial killer. Cain Killion has lived in his father’s reputation all his life. Cain is not like his father but the world or most of it doesn’t seem to realize that or give him the opportunity to show them.
Cain has this special ability that helps him solve crimes. This special ability is gory and a little bit supernatural. I was surprised by and thrilled by Cain’s ability all at the same time. Hey, it works for me.
I can’t wait to read more about Cain and his world. I enjoyed reading Defying Evil very much and highly recommend it to all horror fans! Grab a copy of Defying Evil today!
