Spirit Guides Divine Through A Sign Is written from my personal experiences when I was child. My upbringing was worldly and colorful with taking risks and enjoying life’s seasonal Memories. The memories are what we hold on to. I thank both to both my mom and my dad that provided me with an adventurous life by believing in me and showing me the ropes. Divine travels to location destinations that have been a big part of my life and with my family. It’s as if they are still with me. Ladybugs mean living life to the fullest, this represents my father. When he passed I always saw ladybugs. I believe he is a spirit that is always with me, showing me signs of protection, guidance and it’s pretty powerful when he wants to be. My mom who is the 111 sign and Divine, the baby elephant. She loved baby elephants and the meaning of everything that’s beautiful with elephants. I educate the symbolisms of each character throughout Divine‘s journey in a rhyme in my next book, “Believe To Receive, Calling All Angels” I also educate their life purpose.

In this story, Divine meets her best friend name Chappy in the magic forest. Growing up in a small town in New Jersey we have this forest. It’s meaningful to me and I believe there is familiar energy and smells of the forest trees there which is quite magical. I include this in my book as a memory in my childhood. Chappy is always on the move and he loves to travel. He’s also very wise chatty and also snappy when he wants to be. Chappy happily joins Divine’s journey. Later they both meet a friendly soulmate friend named, Wing. The three of them traveling notice the many signs and messages from Ladybug Spirit. They love traveling to Divine’s lovely destinations and go with the flow with following the 111 signs.

Divine is compelled not only following the signs for living out her purpose. she has an intuition feeling that someday she might need a louder voice to be heard about something so important for everyone must learn and hear. Intuitively she listens to her inner spirit and believes in herself and the guided path Without knowing what will be but believing without questioning the journey. Divine ends up in Hollywood with a greater purpose in my next book series, “Believe To Receive, Calling All Angels” and The Secret Place, Child Of The Earth”.

Interview with Lindsay Staloff

What is your schedule like when you’re writing a book?

I am open to free write when I’m in my creative illustrating or rhyming zone. Usually I gravitate writing around 8 PM when everyone is in bed, and I have the peaceful energy around me for the story to flow. I will write until my mind of my body and soul says it needs to time to stop and reboot.

Did you ever consider writing under a pseudonym?

No

Have you ever gotten reader’s block?

Not really actually…I’m sure I have my moments, but for the most part looking back on my entire children’s book series, there has been a ebb and flow. They say the true source of knowledge is through experience. Divine’s Never Ending Journey is written in a rhyming story series without any writers block. Each book I would say after writing it, “ This is my best one yet!” I believe I felt this because I would enjoy the endless writing and illustrating for each book.

Does your family support your career as a writer?

Absolutely! They love my books and most importantly my son, Liam at seven years old now writes his own little books and says I have inspired him to be a writer/illustrator.

How many hours a day do you write?

Approximately 3/5 hours throughout the morning and day time., and at night, approximately from 8 /9PM depending to 2AN. A total of approximately 10 hours per book/per day for a month straight. It also depending on how long the book is and which concept is rhyming. Since I am the story creator, writer -author, illustrator, and editor for both writing, and illustrating., there is an consuming editing process for each page of each book. This has to be over looked a few times. I have noticed going back the next day or even later something else connects and then more modifications are applied with the post editing/process before publishing & book tours.

If you could invite any three people for dinner, whom would you invite?

If I could choose it would my mom and dad but they crossed over after I came back from PPCM.  My main characters/Divine- baby elephant & inspired me with her energy to write my children’s book series actually. I would love to have dinner with her again… in reality, I would love to have dinner with my girls that are close to my heart. My childhood friends that are like my sister I have known most of my life.

1. Alicia Trauma - childhood best friend.

2. Dawn Campbell - childhood best friend.

3. Rose Campbell - my PR for Public influencer, my spiritual, children’s book series, my bff/sister, from another mother & PPCM partner/ Secretary of PPCM Fund Inc.

Would you share something about yourself that your readers don’t know (yet)?

I developed a sliding scale fee for pregnant women on the streets over 27 years ago and today., I am a (PPCM)Peripartum Cardiomyopathy Survivor. I am the president of PPCM Fund Inc. The Gold Guide Star - 501 C3 nonprofit.

You can learn more at PPCMFund.com, Podcast interviews on YouTube PPCM Fund/videos., IG and FB …Of course it’s easiest to google my name, Lindsay Staloff and learn about my survival story that’s not in a children’s story but actually real. I believe I am part of creating a huge movement and I am relentless with proving and placing maternal mortality in our history books., with the prevention and awareness that’s life saving /information., I truly feel from my soul spirit and being that I am connect and  believe this is my purpose to create real change. I’m coming back from maternal mortality. This is my mission for all women, our children and our children’s children’s moving forward and this era.

Do you try more to be original or to deliver to readers what they want?

honestly, I just go with how I feel is behind each concept approach. Each page was carefully worded, visually created, and within the storyline of rhythm. I wanted a purposeful meaningful journey to also have fun play words. This is not only interactive for the listeners but for the readers as well.

How do you celebrate when you finish your book?

a chocolate chip

ice cream cookie from Trader Joe’s, a tall glass of ice, lemon water, and a coffee on the side.

If you could be mentored by a famous author, who would it be?

Spencer Johnson, who wrote the book, The Precious Present and Brian Weiss MD., who wrote the books, Many Lives Many Masters. Mr. Weiss has written a a whole series that I enjoy to go back and re-read. The Road Less Travels, Messengers From The Master. I love ALL his books.
