For Mia Alexander, the world is getting hotter—literally. Not only is she slathering on gobs of sunscreen, but she’s developed a ravenous desire for rare meat. As if this wasn’t strange enough, a freaking hottie-like-no-other just moved in next door and can’t seem to keep his gaze off her.

Campbell Reid is a vampire who has wandered this earth for a long time, but since the tragedy of his family’s death, he’s perfected an unbreakable control—until he encountered his latest target. His mission from The Supernatural Council is to protect her from other vampires as she transitions and from a mysterious, emerging threat. But can he protect her from himself?

Things heat up as the danger closes in, and Campbell fights by her side as The Vampire Next Door.

This full-length novel is for 18+. It has sizzling scenes and wordy-dirds meant only for mature audiences. It also involves a paranormal world full of supernatural beings, including vampires, shifters, faeries, and more, trying to save us all, and at the same time making cultural references to many of the things that make me giggle.

My Review:

I just love The Vampire Next Door more than I can say. You know when I started reading The Vampire Next Door I thought it was going to be like any other vampire story boy was I wrong on so many levels.

Oh, man I truly loved the new twists or take on vampires. I will have to say that The Vampire Next Door was definitely unlike anything I have read before, especially the vampire part.

The Vampire Next Door kept me glued to the pages one after the other as I could not lay it down for one minute once I started reading it. The world-building was so amazing. I didn’t want it to end.

I would very much love to read more about vampires in this world. I would also like to read more about the werewolves as well. Oh, and the witches too.

In The Vampire Next Door, Mia Alexander is changing. The sun is getting hotter. Every time she steps foot outdoors the sun burns her skin something terribly. Her sense of smell is getting stronger. And she is starting to crave some weird stuff.

Let’s not forget about the hottie that has moved in next door to Mia nor the fact that she is being stalked and that someone is entering her bedroom at night and watching her sleep. What is going on? What is happening to Mia?

I have enjoyed reading the Love Next Door series very much and I can’t wait to dive into the first book in The Fae Next Door to see what is waiting for me in the world of the fae.

I highly recommend The Vampire Next Door to all fans of vampires and romance! Grab a copy of The Vampire Next Door today!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

It all started with an old fashioned typewriter. When my family brought it home, I knew what I wanted to do. All those stories rolling around in my head could finally get out. The press and click of the keys were satisfying in their own right, but when I pulled out a finished page, I knew this was for me. Since then, I’ve graduated to a laptop, but the stories still find a way out.

I’m a breast cancer survivor, a teacher, a wife, a mother, and from the very beginning—a storyteller. Always a hint humorous and honest to a fault, I love to make people laugh, smile, and have “a-ha” moments. My goal in life is to achieve tact and stop procrastinating. The battle wages on.
