Summary:
Everything is riding on the races.
As planned, I have entered the races
to get back the map to Sanshli. Everything is riding on this and I cannot lose.
Torn between my brother, Nygard, and Jack, I didn’t know who to trust. The more
I thought about it, the more I wondered if Nygard had it right—maybe we were
more powerful and deserved to rule. Only time would tell, and the winner of the
races would be able to find Sanshli and end this once and for all.
This is the conclusion of the
Sanshlian Series
My Review of The Return:
In order to get back the maps to Sanshli Arcadia must enter
the races and win. If she wins the races and gets the maps back she can rewrite
history and put everything back to the way it is supposed to be. Arcadia is not
the only one who has entered the races no her brother Rik and Jack has entered
as well.
Arcadia has some tough competition with the number of
contestants who have entered the races who will stop at nothing including death
to win. The races are tough with the contestants trying to run each other off
the road or shoot them.
The Return has lots of action with the races and the
contestants fighting to win on and off the track. Arcadia’s life is in danger
with people chasing her off the track as well in order to try and stop her from
racing at all. Someone wants those maps real bad. The question is why. There
could be a number of reasons as to why each contestant wants the maps of
course.
The races alone is enough to keep you glued to your seat as
Arcadia races around the track just trying to stay alive long enough to make it
to the end. As I was reading about the races I could see it all playing out in
my head and couldn’t flip the pages fast enough to see if Arcadia would win. I
could almost hear the sounds of the engines and the dust flying as each
contestant roared down the street.
Although I have enjoyed reading all three books in the Sanshlian
Trilogy I would have to say that The Return is my favorite as I loved the races
with so much detail in the writing. With saying this I would like to give book
one The Quest and book two, The Journey another shout out as both books are
must reads.
I highly recommend The Return to all Sci-fi fans but I do
suggest that you read The Quest and The Journey before The Return as I’m sure
you want to get every last morsel of the story. One click yourself a copy of
this fantastic trilogy today to begin a great adventure.

The
Quest (Sanshlian #1)
Release
date: March 2020
Summary:
Eleven years ago, my life was ripped away from me. My father, my brother,
my humanity. Everything. I was thrown into the Kamps, created to be a mindless
machine. But I fought against it, not letting them take away my memories of the
past.
And I succeeded.
It has been seven years since I was taken out of the Kamps and made into
the Emperor's Shadow. Now I only take orders from him, and him alone, without
questions. That is, until my brother, who I thought was dead, shows up and
kidnaps me in order to help him find some long lost planetthat our father used
to tell stories about.
According to the legend, and who finds the planet Sanshll can rewrite the
past, and my brother wants to use it to destroy the Empire. My loyalty will
always be to the Emperor. But what if this planet is real? The longer I stay
with my brother, the more I begin to find that the Emperor has been keeping
secrets from me. But I can't turn my back on him...
My Review of The Quest:
Many years ago a young girl had her life ripped away from
her while running from the Emperor one faithful night. Arcadia watches as her
father is shot dead right in front of her eyes and her brother Rik runs away
leaving her with her captors. Arcadia is taken to the Kamps to where she they
teach her to be a killer.
A few years later Arcadia is seen by the Emperor himself and
likes what he sees in her. The Emperor takes her away from the Kamps and
secretly has her trained to be an assassin better known as his Shadow.
Arcadia once believed everything her father taught her about
the Emperor but now she is loyal only to the Emperor. Arcadia has had all of
her feelings and humanity stripped from her by the Kamps and the Emperor’s men.
She is no longer the same girl she once was.
One day Arcadia’s brother Rik returns from the dead to kidnap
her so they can continue their father’s quest to find the planet Sanshll. It is
believed that if they find Sanshll they can change the past and save the world
and destroy the Emperor. But Arcadia has not intensions of helping Rik as she
is belongs to the Emperor now.
The longer she stays with Rik the more she learns about the
Emperor and finds that he has been keeping secrets. Arcadia begins to doubt
everything she has been taught. She needs answers to a number of things like
what the Emperor has been hiding.
Arcadia has been having dreams for a long time night after
night. She believes if she can find this planet Sanshll then maybe she will get
the answers she needs and maybe the dreams will go away.
I can’t wait to dive into the next book The Journey to see how
the story continues especially after that ending.
Can Arcadia find the answers she needs? Can they save the
world? Wil they find the planet Sanshll? To find all the answers one click your
copy of The Quest to begin this wondrous quest with Arcadia and Rik.
The Journey
(Sanshlian #2)
Release Date: March
2020
Summary:
Now it is time to figure out who I really am.
A year has passed since we were all on Sanshli. My
idiot brother decided to pull out the sword and now we were stuck in the past,
all in new bodies. Like my life wasn't complicated enough.
But now it was going to get even more complicated.
Time was running out and I had to finish my mission:
destroy Nygard once and for all. I knew I would be on my own for this one, as I
was the only one who I could trust. And there was always Jack, but I still
didn't know where he was. Hopefully it would all make sense soon.
But what were the odds of that?
My Review of The Journey:
After Rik, Arcadia’s brother decides to pull out the sword
they travel back in time to other bodies. Everyone from the future has traveled
back and enters or became their ancestors. Each character had two names. I will
have to agree that it is a little confusing at times trying to keep all the
characters straight but once you figure out who is who then the story amps up
as you follow Arcadia on her mission.
Arcadia once again found herself on the side of the Emperor.
She had no idea where her brother or Jack was. She had to pretend to be loyal
to the Emperor instead of against him if she wanted to escape his hold and
complete her mission.
The Emperor sends Arcadia on a mission to kill the one
person she can never kill. Arcadia lets the Emperor believe that she will do
whatever he asks her to do as she belongs to him. Arcadia knows that she has to
make the Emperor believe her if she is to ever escape his grasp and put things
right again. Arcadia knows that she is alone as she can trust no one.
The Journey has the right amount of action to keep you glued
to the story and the pages turning. The Journey is filled with all the betrayals,
lies and twists to keep you racing to the end to see how it all turns out. I
really enjoyed reading Arcadia’s escape scene and how it all played out. The
world building for The Journey is just out of this world awesome.
If you like sci-fi stories with action and suspense then I believe
you would enjoy reading The Journey. One click your copy of The Journey today!
