Another century. Mercy has no memory of this world he shares, and
instinctively doesn’t trust him.
He

the truth about her past, and the power she holds, before it’s too

My Review:
A young girl Mercy awakens in the hospital after being in an accident
to find her life has been turned upside and that the life she knew is
no more. After she awakens she learns that she has been lied to her
whole life. She learns that she is a witch and that vampires,
werewolves and demons are all real. Mercy learns that upon her
eighteenth birthday her powers will be awakened and she will be very
powerful.
When Mercy was born her mother obtained her powers which is to be
given back to Mercy on her eighteenth birthday upon her awakening.
But there is one little problem with the returning of her powers.
Mercy’s mother became so attached to the powers that she was
willing to do anything to keep them. Mercy’s mother ends up in
prison for trying to murder her own daughter. Mercy was then raised
by her Aunt Lily.
Mercy has a run in with a guy who claims to have known Mercy in the
past and claims that he only wants to help her with her awakening.
Mercy is at the point now she no longer knows who she can trust or
not trust. Mercy is also frighten as someone is watching and
following her around. She has
not been able to see the person who is
following her but she can feel them when they are near.
The Dark Awakening is a fast paced read that will pull you into its
depths and have you lost in this awesome world of witches, vampires,
werewolves and demons. You will be pulled in so far that you will
feel as if you are right there with all the wonderful and amazing
characters. You will feel as if you have known the characters all
your life. I could see each scene playing out in my head as I was
reading making me feel as if I was a part of this world.
The Dark Awakening is filled with action on every page and so many
twists and turns that it kept the pages flying by as each one was
turned racing to the end as each twist was revealed and once I
reached the ending it left me wanting more. I can’t wait for the
next book for the story to continue.
I would recommend The Dark Awakening to all fans of witches,
vampires, werewolves and demons. The Dark Awakening is a mixture
between Vampire Diaries, Charmed and Bitten. If you are a fan of any
of these movies or TV shows then you are going to love The Dark
Awakening. One click your copy today!

In
the future, D.L. hopes that she can continue to write exciting novels
that will captivate her readers and bring them into the worlds that
