BLURB:

Rone of House Ignatius has failed his mission. With the death of a dragon in his care, Rone’s emotions spiral.

Things get worse when the hatchlings Rone entrusted to Violet are stolen.

Unable to reconcile, the pair splits, sure they can make things right in their own way.

However, after Rone’s attempt fails and Violet ends up in even deeper trouble, they must admit that they’re better together.

In more ways than one.

Rumors surface that their opponents have the missing hatchlings, and the pair refocuses on bringing the eggs to safety.

Along the way, they discover the truth about Violet’s ancestry. A truth that will change their lives forever.

Dragon Magic is an upper YA/NA dragon shifter contemporary fantasy adventure novel. If you like loads of action, a slow-burn romance, and characters who will steal your heart, you’ll love Dragon Magic.

My Review:

Violet has lost the hatchlings that Rone gave her to keep safe. Although Violet apologizes over and over but Rone can’t comprehend accepting her apology until the hatchlings are back safe in their arms. With the two of them being at odds with each other they decide to go their separate ways.

Rone feeling so bad about losing the hatchlings doesn’t trust anyone at the moment. All he can think about is getting the hatchlings back safely. Rone goes off on his own to search for the hatchlings.

Violet wants to make amends for what she has done, wants to get the hatchlings back herself. It hurts Violet that Rone is so mad at her, she didn’t mean to lose the hatchlings. Violet soon finds herself in danger as she infiltrates a group of people whom she believes to have taken the hatchlings.

Will Violet and Rone find the hatchlings? Can Violet save the hatchlings and herself? Who took the hatchlings and why? What do they want with the hatchlings?

Dragon Magic swooped me up from the first page pulling me in taking me on a thrilling magical journey with dragons, witches, and vampires. Once again Ashley McLeo and Kelly N. Jane drew me into their world of magic until I was surrounded by dragons, vampires, and witches, not letting go until I had turned the last page.

Dragon Magic kept me hooked with all its action, suspense and secrets, secrets that it liked to hold onto releasing them a little bit at a time. Dragon Magic was just as good if not better than its predecessor Dragon Prince. After that ending I can’t wait to read more about Violet and Rone’s world and to see where their journey takes them next.

I would recommend Dragon Magic to anyone who likes reading about dragons, magic, witches, and vampires that is filled with action on almost every page. One-click your copy of Dragon Magic today to begin this magical adventure! But I do suggest that you read book one Dragon Prince in The Royal Quest series before reading Dragon Magic though.
