It's so easy to fall in love, but hard to find someone who will catch you. Let me guess - you're a beautiful and intelligent girl, but so far, you haven't got much luck finding true love. This book will show you how to find your true love from online dating. You will no longer be the Instant Noodle and your love life will be transformed forever.

Interview with Mrs. Q. Warnock

What was the hardest scene from your book to write?

The hardest part to write was “build a magnetic profile” - how to create an attractive online dating profile. It was in the first chapter of the book, so I was still warming up. I had a clear idea of how to build a powerful profile for dating apps, but it was challenging to come up with raw dating profiles that are flawed in respective to the teaching points I was about to unveil.

Why did you choose to write in your particular field or genre?

I was the previous Miss Forever Single. I went on 42 blind dates, got my heart broken multiple times, and learned the keys to online dating the hard way. Knowing what works and what doesn't in the online dating world, I wrote this book so other ladies looking for their Mr. Right don't have to navigate it through trial and error.

If you write in more than one genre, how do you balance them?

I keep this question in mind when writing: who am I talking to? My writing style is conversational, and I want my reader to feel that they are sitting down with me and chatting that topic over coffee. That way, my writing targets my audience in that specific genre.

What did you enjoy most about writing this book?

I enjoyed writing women empowerment the most. My book is for marriage-minded single ladies, and I’ve seen so many of them lose track of themselves while busy going after “the one” and constantly looking for “Mr. Right”. In reality, focusing on this alone while forgetting about themselves is only going to make the process harder. It’s crucial to have the right mindset and realizing their value during the process of finding forever after.

What book that you have read has most influenced your life?

Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window. I read it when I was a kid, and could immediately relate myself to Totto-chan, a girl labled as a“troublemaker.”Taken to a different school after being expelled by her traditional school, she was respected and loved, and grew into a successful person who was a firm believer in freedom of expression and activity. This book always inspired me to be brave and confident sharing what I believe is true and guarding my inner peace.

Tell us a little about yourself? Perhaps something not many people know?

I am a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and licensed acupuncturist. TCM saved my grandma’s life from nephritis when she was in her 40s. Both of my parents are TCM doctors and I grew up witnessing people’s lives being changed because of them. They inspired me to also become a TCM practitioner.

Can you tell us something about your book that is not in the summary?

I think the first date from online dating isn’t really a date – more of a first meeting. We call it “the first date,” which sounds romantic, but really it is just a meetup. Two people are meeting each other for the first time to see where the chemistry is, if there is any at all. The right mindset is to be calm and focus on having a great time. See it as a fun and unique experience where you get to know someone new. Afterward, you get to go home back to your comfort zone. However big this meetup seems to be right now, some day in the future it will be another funny or awkward story you can share with laughter.
