FBI Agent Joseph Trammell retires to a beachfront home on a Georgia island.

Six months later, PI Red Farlow finds him dying in a pool of blood. Someone shot him four times. Five shell casings litter the floor. Drops of blood lead out of the house and onto East Beach on St. Simons Island. Red sets out to find out who killed Joe Trammell and why.

Did the local drug and arms smuggler hire a hit? And who caught the fifth bullet?

Farlow wades into the murky water of intrigue, conflicting love affairs, and danger as he tracks down the killer. It’s not exactly a relaxing day at the beach.

My Review:

PI Red Farlow receives a call during the middle of the night from a friend, Joseph Trammell asking him to come to his house now. When Red arrives at his friend's house he finds him lying in a pool of his own blood. Just as Joseph is taking his last breath he leaves Red a message may be a clue as to who and why he was shot.

After the man passes Red notices that Joseph was shot four times but there were five bullet casings lying on the floor. Where is the other bullet? Red also sees a trail of blood leading out the door down to the beach. There was another person at the crime scene. Who was it? Who took the fifth bullet? Who killed Red’s friend?

East Beach is filled with action from the first page that drew me in and never let go until I had turned the last page. There was plenty of mystery and suspense on every page that kept me guessing as to who-dun-it from beginning to end.

I love the Red Farlow Mysteries and was happy to see another story available. Needless to say, when I saw it I knew I had to read it. I read the first two books in the Red Farlow Mysteries and loved both of them. I can’t wait for the next book in the Red Farlow Mysteries for more of Red.

I would recommend East Beach to all mystery, suspense, and thriller fans. One-click your copy of East Beach today! I would also like to recommend Rich and Gone book one and Blue Magnolia book two in the Red Farlow Mysteries as well.
