Kissing Flames

Kissing Monsters #6

Blurb:

If I lose myself to Lady Scarlet,” Kiss repeats, pressing a finger to his mouth, “then I count on you to find me.” She leans closer, her whisper close to a breath. “To bring me back to you.”

His lips part slightly, his exhale brushing her skin.

Will you promise me, Zane?”

His fingers wrap around her wrist and his lips move against her fingertip, almost like a kiss—but not quite.

I promise,” he rasps.

Separated by dark forces once more, Kiss and Zane split ways—Kiss sets out to find the Gifted One known as the Healer in order to save the dying angels, while Zane risks his life to look for Skylar and August, hoping he can convince Skylar to control her Nightmares, as well as finding and saving August from Lock’s trap.

As Kiss fights both Nightmares and Lady Scarlet, she soon starts to doubt whether it’s a fight she can win without losing herself forever—but Zane has promised to save her when that day comes.

And it’s a promise he will never break, no matter the stakes.

But soon forgotten powers from the past appear to play a greater role than anyone could have anticipated—even the angels—forged from fire and still burning bright.

Love isn’t the only thing that burns like flames.

So does the past; so does the need to survive.

My Review:

Kiss and Zane have finally made their way back to each other but are once again separated. The angels are still dying. Kiss sets out to find a healer to save them. Zane goes looking for Skylar and August.

Skylar is a gifted one but her kiss are not saving the monsters by turning them into angels no her kiss is leaving behind nightmares. August is still in the clutches of Lock.

Kiss is still battling with Scarlet. Scarlet wants to take over and be the dominant one of the two but Kiss is not a bad person and never has been so she is trying to hold onto her good side but maybe slowly losing her hold on herself. Kiss is so afraid of losing herself and Zane that she made him promise to come looking for her if she ever loses herself to Scarlet.

Kissing Flames has caused the old adrenaline to ramp up a couple of degrees. The story just gets hotter and hotter as each of the characters fights the battles within and without, trying not to let their dark side over take their light side or good side, trying not to let the monsters in to take control.

As quick as I finish one book I am ready to dive straight into the next. I can hardly contain myself. The minute one book closes the next one enters my mind and I can’t get it out of my head until I pick it up.

And while I am anxiously awaiting the opening of the next book the one I just read and the ones before are running through my mind. It's like when you get a song stuck in your head.

I can’t wait to read more of Zane, Kiss, Skylar, August, Lock, plus so many other's stories and what journey they are going to undertake next.

As always I highly recommend Kissing Flames to all romantic horror fans! One-click your copy of Kissing Flames today to begin another awesome adventure in the Kissing Monsters universe! And while you are at it check out the rest of the series as well.
