Amends: A Psychic Mystery Series
Carissa Andrews
(A Diana Hawthorne Supernatural Mystery, #2)
Publication date: July 23rd 2021
Genres: Adult, Mystery, Urban Fantasy

For as psychic as she is, shit goes sideways far too often around Diana Hawthorne.

Diana now has everything she ever wanted–her memories, and the soul mate she didn’t realize she was missing. There’s just one problem… the old gods expect her to make amends for her absence. And her work starts now.

But time lost at the oracle isn’t the only thing she has to atone for. Her friend Demetri was stripped of his powers–and it was all her fault. If she could just set things right, she’d feel a whole lot better about moving forward. Unfortunately, Demetri wants nothing to do with her and knows exactly how to keep her out of his head.

To make matters worse, in the age of social media, Diana’s abilities have gone viral. People from all over the world are clambering to get on her books. One case, in particular, hits her radar and despite herself, she can’t shake it. A 14-year-old boy is wrapped up with a deadly governmental agency and he’s scared to death. And he should be–they want to weaponize his power.

Torn between what was and what is, Diana struggles to fully embrace who she’s becoming. Will she be able to help Demitri and make things right? Or will her new role mean leaving the past behind?

Calling fans of KF Breene, Shannon Mayer, and Shayne Silvers! If you like snarky-fun humor, gripping supernatural scenes, and twists that leave you spellbound — then you will LOVE Carissa Andrews’ world built especially for Diana Hawthorne.

My Review:

Diana is back and she has everything she has ever dreamed of in life. She has gotten her memories back and has finally found her soulmate, Blake. In Amends book two of the Diana Hawthorne Supernatural Mystery series, Diana has a lot on her plate.

A friend of hers Demetri has lost his powers and Diana blames herself. Then another friend of hers, Kyros has been brought back from the dead to help her out.

Someone has let it leak out to the public that Diana is a very powerful psychic and now people from all over are lining up on her doorstep wanting her to help them find lost things, pets, people or maybe even just read their fortune, who knows, right.

A fourteen-year-old boy with special powers of his own shows up on Diana’s doorstep looking very distressed, scared, and in need of her help. The people who are looking for this boy want to use his powers for their own personal gain.

The more I read of the Diana Hawthorne Supernatural Mystery series the future I am pulled into her story and her world. I love all the characters in Amends. Diana has always been a great, sweet, and caring person but I do believe that she has grown some in Amends. I love the banter that goes on between all the characters. There were lots of times when I was reading Amends that I would just laugh out loud at what was being said. These characters can be so hilarious at times.

I can’t wait to read more in the Diana Hawthorne Supernatural Mystery series. I can’t wait to see where all these great, amazing, and wonderful characters are going to take us next. I can’t wait to see what they have to say in future books.

Amends is filled with amazingly fun characters, mystery, suspense, twists, and turns plus so much more. I would definitely recommend Amends to all supernatural and mystery fans! One-click your copy of Amends today!
