My Review:
The twists and turns keep on coming in Killer Gumbo the fourth book in the Piper Sandstone Savory Mystery series by Karen McSpade. Killer Gumbo pulled me deep into its world like the three books before it.
The plot grows in Killer Gumbo as another person loses their life. A man kills over while out getting his wife food. At first, everyone in the restaurant thinks it has to be a heart attack but is it? Is this man’s death connected to Susan’s death and Victory’s the champion dog’s missing?
If it is connected then how? What is the connection? The mystery deepened with more twists and turns that kept me hanging on every page as I tried to help Piper and the ladies solve the case.
What is going on in Savory, Alabama? I can’t wait to read the last book in the Piper Sandstone Savory Mystery Series to find out.
