Blurb:

Contact between the human world and the dragon realm is strictly forbidden. No one knows this more than Dax Hyland. Drake Enforcer of the Pacific Colony hidden on a carefully protected island chain, Dax has dreamed, for the last hundred years, of his coming of age celebration and sets his sights on Hawaii for his excursion into the human realm.

Volcanologist, Dr. Jane Calman has been monitoring strange activity on the big island of Hawaii. As if someone had put a stopper in the volcano, the constant lava flows have all but stopped their two-decade trickle toward the ocean, and now the mountain is threatening a full blown eruption. Dax thought he knew everything about fire, but when he meets Jane, she ignites an entirely new kind of blaze within him. Smart, sexy, and obsessed with the molten heart of the earth that is home to his people. It's almost as if she is a Drake trapped in human form. The passion they share burns hotter than any flame he's ever felt.Jane doesn't know Dax is a dragon. Seeing his true form is forbidden. But when he discovers another Drake tampering with the volcano, forcing an eruption that will destroy Jane's island home, Dax will have to risk life and newfound love to save her.

My Review:

It is forbidden for humans to know that dragons exist but when Dax sets his eye on the big island of Hawaii and meets the smart, sexy and fiery Volcanologist, Dr. Jane Calman things start to change for Dax.

After arriving on the island Dax learns that there is another dragon on the island that is upsetting the volcano and causing it to spew lava. Dax needs to find this rogue dragon before it is too late or everyone on the island will die.

This rogue dragon has also set his eyes on this big island as well and instead of trying to live peaceably with the humans he wants to destroy them so he and his clan can have the island all to themselves.

Molten Heart is filled with lots of action and two very hot dragons that will keep you turning those pages wanting more and more. When reading Molten Heart I could just see the lava rising up and spewing right out of the volcano and flowing down the sides.

I could also see Dax and the other dragon soaring through the air as they are fighting each other. Molten Heart is vividly written so that you can see it playing out in your head like a movie. Once you pick it up you are lost in its world to the point where you can feel the heat coming off of it wave after wave.

I have not read many books about dragons, honestly lately I have wanted to give dragons a shot but for some reason I have not but when I saw the author of Molten Heart I knew I had to read it. I am so glad I did. I can’t wait to see what more the dragons have in store for us.

I definitely recommend Molten Heart to all fans of fantasy, shape shifting with a little bit of romance.
