Dr. Joyce Cass is one of the brightest minds in all of Elpis, and she has a vision for the future. But first, she must convince the Directorate to support her research plan when her own company has denied her.
Can she change the future and save humanity from regression from superpowers? Or will she fail and lose everything?
If you enjoyed the Powers series, you won't want to miss this shocking prequel short story.

My Review:
Dr. Joyce Cass has a plan for the future to save all of Elpis. Will her plan work? Can she save Elpis? What is this plan that Dr. Cass has? Dr. Cass has always wanted to be a member of the Directorate. Dr. Cass will go to extreme measures to get want she wants no matter what the cost may be to others.
The Directorate has a plan already set in place for the people of Elpis, a plan that Dr. Cass can add to. Elpis is going downhill and soon to be no more if something doesn’t change.
Dr. Cass seems to be a very manipulative person who will tell people what she thinks they want to hear in order to get them to do exactly what she wants. Dr. Cass seems to be the kind of person who wants to be in control of everyone and everything and she will get what she wants one way or another. Is Dr. Cass’s plan more about saving the people of Elpis or more about her being the person in control?
SUPERIOR is a short story that gives us more insight into the Powers Series and how it came to be. While SUPERIOR is a short story there is still a lot between its pages.
Dr. Cass will keep you hanging on every word from beginning to end wondering what she is up to. She will keep you glued to the pages and racing to the end to find out what she has in mind for the people of Elpis.
