My Review:
I have been wanting to read The Curse of Cain for a while now but kept putting it off for one reason or another. My thoughts after finally getting around to reading it are why did I wait so long? I wish I had read it sooner. The Curse of Cain is not the first book by Theophilus Monroe that I have read and it definitely won’t be the last.
I got my first glimpse of Cain in The Blood Witch Saga. I knew right then and there that I had to read The Curse of Cain and now. I had to know more about this man or werewolf that is called Cain. I loved that Cain came from the Bible. I loved that werewolves, vampires, and Witches lived together in the same world. I like that there is more than one paranormal creature in the story.
I love this world that was created for The Curse of Cain. I love all the characters, especially Cain. I can’t wait to dive into the next book The Mark of Cain in The Vilokan Asylum of the Magically and Mentally Deranged series. I can’t wait to see what more this world has to offer. I can’t wait to see what Cain has on his plate in the next story. I love the cover of The Curse of Cain it fits perfectly with the story.
I also liked that there is a place for younglings who have just been turned to go to stay safe. Vilokan Asylum is a place for these younglings to go to learn how to deal with just being turned. Vilokan can help younglings to hopefully one day be able to live in the world with humans without destroying the world and the humans who live in it.
