Interview with Mieke Vulink
What is your schedule like when you’re writing a book?
Actually I don’t have a schedule! When I start to write – mostly in the early mornings because I can stay in my own ‘writers attunement’ – I feel very guided and inspired from the inside. When I am really in that energy, I can write daily, for hours. This goes one until a chapter is finished, or until I have to do other work. Anyway I don’t have deadlines, it is just a process of giving birth to a new book without any stress or obligations. I wrote my first book within 2 months, the next book was ready after 4 years, and it appears my 3rd book needs the same preparation time. I first need to feel full circle with my own, inner development, to have integrated new phases of consciousness, and then I can write from my own inner knowing.
Did you ever consider writing under a pseudonym?
Never! Because I have a big network (in the Netherlands) and I feel very connected with what I write. So it’s the real me, no fake names for me although I can understand why some choose a pseudonym.
Have you ever gotten reader’s block?
Sometimes, when I am tired or when I feel I actually want to do other things. Then I am not fully absorbing what I read. But I only read what is nourishing for my soul at that moment, so mostly I feel very open to receive what is in the book!
Does your family support your career as a writer?
Yes they do, they always loved my writings. I started with writing articles about developing consciousness, and gradually they started to follow my articles. They were very happy when my first book was born, and tried to sell it wherever possible! They totally understand why I need to live in silence when I am writing; it is a commitment that they appreciate very much.
How many hours a day do you write?
It depends of my other work – I still write a lot of articles about awakening of humanity and about how we can support our own transformations and the growth of our own consciousness. And I also offer online Lightcircles, so writing is not my only ‘job’. But in quiet times I mostly write 4 – 6 hours a day.
If you could invite any three people for dinner, whom would you invite?
I would invite Yeshua, Mary Magdalene and Joseph of Arimathea for dinner! But that will not be possible, in a physical way 😊 ! So I’d love to meet 3 very spiritual persons that inspired me a lot: Lars Muhl, Kathleen McGowan and a member of the Sinclair Family (one of the owners of the Rosslin Chapel).
Would you share something about yourself that your readers don’t know (yet)?
Yes, I have nothing to hide. I lately did an interview for a Dutch magazine in which I told a lot about my own past, in which both darkness and light were very present.
Do you try more to be original or to deliver to readers what they want?
I always try to write for the highest good of all, what may contribute to a better world with more peace, love, righteousness and consciousness. That comes from a higher source, and what they offer goes through the heart of the readers, always.
How do you celebrate when you finish your book?
Mostly with a dinner with friends and family, or with a trip to a very special place. I only finished 2 Dutch books (and 2 translations in English) so I don’t have a fixed way of celebrating. But to share the joy of being able to send the messages into the world is a gift in its own!
If you could be mentored by a famous author, who would it be?
It would be either Kathleen McGowan or Gretchen Cornwall, because they both know a lot of the real history of the sacred and ancient (power-)places in the world, about the Holy Family and their bloodlines, and about all the subjects that I find very interesting and fascinating. They inspire me with their books, and I am absolutely sure that I could learn a lot from them!
About the Author
Mieke Vulink was born in 1962 in the Netherlands. As a highly-sensitive child, the piano was a perfect instrument for Mieke to express her feelings and inner knowledge of harmony and sound. Her first earthly career was in music, as a concert pianist, piano teacher and composer. During Music Highschool, she discovered another interesting world of: sound healing and spirituality.
As a result of her own inner work, and the fine-tuning of her sensitivity, intuition and clairsentience, her connections with ascended masters and higher dimensions became stronger. She has dedicated her life to the esoteric, mystical, sacred knowledge and initiation pathways. Self-healing from everyone's own Source can be realised, while walking the path of the soul!
As a Lightworker, she started to receive callings to special, sacred places on Earth, for activations and coding integration. She went to Germany, Poland, Malta; Gozo, Greece, Turkey, Poland, Sicily, Great Britain and Scotland / Iona, Italy, Spain and France. After the first journey to southern France, her first book was born!
Mieke is a therapist and teacher in transformation and self-realisation; a teacher of essential healing; consciousness coach; a clairsentient medium; author; lightworker; and musician.
