Excerpt:

The ballroom is magnificent. Water cascades over the win-dows like curtains and in the center of the room is a fountain carved of Queen Amphitrite, the patron goddess of Arethusa and the wife of Poseidon. Fabrics of varying shades of blue are woven around the white marble columns and the material drapes along the ceiling. At the far end of the room from Shea are the thrones. The larger chair for the Queen is empty, and an older man that looks to be in his fifties, Prince Mariner if Shea remembers correctly from V’s studies, sits in the small consort throne.

Standing at the edge of the steps leading up to the thrones are three women. The one in the center is wearing a stunning white and gold gown, her skin shimmers as if it’s been painted by glitter and her long blonde hair flows down her back with white seashells intertwined in the curls. On top of her head is a tiara made completely of gold with chips of diamonds and sea-shells on the ragged points. It looks beautiful and expensive. Her bodice of gold reminds Shea of armor. It looks formidable and makes her appear strong while the white tulle flowing gracefully to the floor accentuates her figure nicely. To the lady's either side is two older women in blue dresses: one in a light seafoam blue and the other in a night sky that without the candlelight would look black.

Great cover and I really liked the blurb. The excerpt gives an excellent feel of the type of writing, I wish there was some dialogue as well for a better picture. I usually don't read NA but this one intrigues, along with the LGBT theme, and I'll definitely check it out.
