My Review:
Lady Dulcea, the elven enchantress is betrayed by one of her own men when he gives her up to the enemy. Dulcea is taken away to enemy territory and sentenced to death.
Dulcea is saved from death by a vampire, Lord Krath who kidnaps her and takes her back to his castle. She spends her time at the castle playing games with Lord Krath.
Dulcea bides her time with Lord Krath she believes that as long as she is breathing then there is always a chance or way to escape and make her way back home to expose the one person who betrayed her before he does it again. Can Dulcea find a way to escape from Lord Krath? Will she ever see her home again?
Dulcea and her people have been in war for many years. Immortal Defiance tells about the war with flashbacks in between Dulcea and Krath's time together.
My favorite parts of Immortal Defiance are the times spent with Dulcea and Krath. I loved seeing them together and sort of wished more for these two as a couple maybe. But I did enjoy learning about Dulcea and her background story of who she was it was very interesting.
If you enjoy war stories and vampires then Immortal Defiance just may be the book for you.
