My Review:

What a great start to a new series! Designed by Destiny is the first book in the Fairy Godmothers Incorporated series by Maya Tyler. Designed by Destiny introduces us to some new and great characters as well as a brand new world with a little bit of drama with a faked marriage and a fairy godmother who is a matchmaker.

Nicholas Grey is a bachelor and the CEO of the architecture firm Grey & Company. Nick’s job is on the line. In order to save his job he must land a huge project. Nick is given the impression that if he has a stable home life, he just might be awarded the project. Nick must think fast if he is to impress his client and land the job.

The only thing Nick can manage to come up with on the spur of the moment is that he has a fiance` which of course he does not. Now Nick has put himself in a predicament, to say the least. Now he has to find a woman that will be willing to pose as his fake fiance` which of course he does.

Nick asks Bethany Clarke an architect intern at his firm Grey & Company. Surprisingly Beth says yes. Beth makes a spur-of-the-moment decision herself when she agrees to be Nick’s fake fiance`.

As all readers of Designed by Destiny know by now is that Beth begins to wonder if she has made the right decision to be Nick’s fake fiance`. Beth is beginning to question why she ever decided to become someone's fake fiance`. Beth had sworn off men the day she broke it off with her ex-boyfriend.

But after a night out on the town with their potential new client, Beth and Nick wake up the next morning in bed together and married. Beth is like what did I do. After giving it some thought she vaguely remembers the night before and being married by, Elvis! What are they going to do now? Will this marriage gain them the new project? Will this new project be worth it? Well, hopefully, it will, right?

Designed by Destiny were a fun and cozy little romance that hooked me from the first page. Oh, I was hooked alright. I kept wondering what kind of person this Nick character was to pull a stunt like that. But then on the other hand I kept thinking the same thing about Beth too. So, I had to keep reading at this point to see who these two characters were and how they were going to deal with it all. What was the real reason behind Nick choosing Beth? What was the reason behind Beth agreeing to such a preposterous idea in the first place? Or was it a preposterous idea?
