Supernatural stones. Ancient rituals. Mysterious ruins. Nothing unusual for the Hillestad siblings. Until…

Jeanette Hillestad receives news of her brother’s disappearance during his recent archaeological expedition and must travel to Kinsale, Ireland. She enlists the help of a local Irishman, Conlin Murphy, who’s adamant about staying out of her rescue mission for the safety of his teenage daughter.

But when relic hunters attack Jeanette, and Conlin discovers a map, they team up to search for her brother. The clues lead them on an international, life-threatening chase from Ireland to Old Quebec, and Montreal to New Hampshire.

While on the run, Jeanette and Conlin’s bond deepens with their undeniable attraction, which complicates matters.
Now, they need a greater force to survive the dangerous people willing to kill for the Mystery Stone. The consequences of her brother’s actions challenge their beliefs and may cost Jeanette to sacrifice everything.

My Review:

When Jeanette Hillestad learns that her brother, Tom is missing she sets off for Ireland to find her brother no matter what the cost. While in Ireland she asks Conlin Murphy for help in looking for her missing brother but he is not too keen on helping her. He is skeptical about getting involved with her search because of his teenage daughter, Saoirse.

After their meeting, Conlin changes his mind about helping Jeanette. Their journey is not an easy one as people are stalking Jeanette. They believe that Jeanette has something that they want. Jeanette, Conlin, and Saoirse are just trying to stay one step ahead of their stalker. But are not having much luck with that one as they seem to just show up where ever they are.

The Mystery Stone kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end as I followed Jeanette on her journey as she tried to find her brother. Where is her brother? Is he alive? Could he be hiding from someone? Has he been taken, hostage? The Mystery Stone has quite a few twists that helped in keeping those pages turning.

The Mystery Stone was well written making it very easy to follow its storyline. The characters all seemed like real people. Like someone I have met before, you know like a friend. It was written so well that it had no problem holding my interest. I could see it so well as if I was watching a movie.

I would recommend The Mystery Stone to mystery fans! Grab your copy of The Mystery Stone today!
